I ordered a Body Control Module from these people. I called the next day and was told that there's normally a 1 day processing time, and then it's shipped out priority mail. However, they had a snowstorm, so it would be an extra day.I get a call a week later, asking me for the part number, even though they already had my vehicle information and VIN. She said they needed this to make sure they sent me the right part. Why a week later? Why not the next day? She then tells me they have 180 orders waiting to go out, and she's been working 18 hour days, etc.I gave her the part number, they didn't have that part, but they had a suitable replacement, based on my VIN, and would be sending that the next day. They never did need or use my part number, they were just stalling for time. When I asked for a manager, I was told she was the manager, and if I didn't like it she'd refund my money. This after waiting a week.

Called on Three occasions to ask questions, friendly quick answers and service, even though it was the day after thanksgiving. Shipping was slow but it was free. ECM works flawlessly and my truck has never ran better. Much cheaper than a dealership and had the same warranty. No complaints. Part has been on my truck two weeks and been driven 1200 miles.

Ordered online a ECM for my 96 chevy. Worked as expected. The instruction sheet concerned (confused) me a smidgen, so I called. The old guy was explanatory and helpful so I installed and all was well. I had some concerns given it's a used reconditioned part, but it was "more" than half the price. Computer cars are fluky to begin with, so working is as high an expectation you can have.

I don't know if it was just my experience with these guys but i ordered a fpcm for my truck on a sunday and did not receive it till following saturday. They advertise priority shipping which i needed because my vehicle would not run without this part so i was out my daily driver for a week. I did email them and matt responded within a couple hours and i told him that its been 4 days since i placed my order and didn't have a tracking number yet, within a few hours i received an email that said it was shipped and with a tracking number. The packaging was very good and the part did work perfect. All in all the part worked great, they responded to my emails within a good time frame and they made things right. I would use them again as long as there are no shipping issues in the future.

I live in Maryland. I use Deering despite the huge shipping costs. Why? Because I trust them. If you live closer than 1000 miles, I can't think of anyone better than Deering for stuff PROVIDED it is inexpensive to ship. And if you are local? Go here first and save yourself the hassle of going everywhere and coming back to them after you confirm they have the best deal in town.Notes about other reviews:5 years ago Troy Crank gave 2 stars and wrote these guys a bad review on the basis that the engine he purchased already had a bad head gasket after he installed it, $1000 of labor. Only a dumb optimist would not check the plugs before doing an engine swap. If it had a bad head gasket at least one plug would be fouled, and the engine should be returned on that basis. If the accident history or reason for junking the car isn't knowable, some people will, while the plugs are removed, turn the crankshaft to check both bearings and the compression on all cylinders. Largely to make sure they are all about the same. It won't take much time and just makes a little sense. (Why would any owner junk their car if the engine was really good?) A few other pre-installs are stuff like the timing belt (if any) being changed, etc. I think that Mr. Crank was odd to be skipping the testing and verification stage of his engine swap. It is easier to blame the supplier, but in this case the buyer also is largely to blame for not checking for fouled plugs, such a basic thing.Jonathan Fultz gave a 1 star review saying that he almost died because a rear end was installed without a nut on a bolt; "[A] month and a half down the road I heard a clunking noise..." If you are driving over 30 mph after a "rear end [was] switched out" (like it was an oil change), I am sorry, you failed the common sense test. Most people would buy a new car if it needs a whole new rear end. After the repair, you should have driven it cautiously at first, slowly increasing speed. If what you wrote were true, (entire rear end was installed without the nut) the sound you eventually noticed would have instantly occurred, and you should have be back at Deering 10 minutes after your purchased, not 1.5 months later. But, you didn't. It took 1.5 months. So, there's something wrong with your story. If I had to guess, the nut just WAS installed and just came off on its own. Ideally, a mechanic will use red locktite on a safety part, but, then again, it would be hard to get off to service, increasing costs for the next mechanic who has to cut off the bolt and charge you for a whole new back end. Or to over torque and strip the bolt. So, it isn't easy to do a job to make everyone happy without any chance of failure. These things (nuts loosening) happen all the time. If I had a dollar every time I (being skeptically safe) looked under my hubcap at my wheel and tested to see if any nuts were loose, I'd be rich. I know, ideally, this would not happen, but it is very common. Costco even makes you come back anytime they do any tire work just for this reason.Since it was > 30 days, if they repaired it for free you should be giving them a 5 star review. Even a dealer don't warranty stuff past 30 days. IMO Deering should have charged you labor for re-installing it. But, they did the labor for free. For that, you give them a 1 star review?!?!? Ok...

This business claims to sell refurbished Body Control Modules. The one they sent me damaged my horn relay when I reconnected my battery after installation. Thay also stated the unit was programmed. After I returned and disputed the charge I purchased a new Body Control Module. The Techincianprogrammed my new BCM through the OBDII port. I was further informed you can't preprogram the unit with only a vin#. THE TECHNICIAN WHO USED THE TECH2 PROGRAMMING SCANNER NEEDED TO VERIFY ALL ACCESSORIES ON THE VEHICLE AND PROGRAM THEM EACH INDIVIDUALLY WHEN HE PROGRAMMED MY BODY CONTROL MODULE. I HAVE SOME DEFINATE CONCERNS ABOUT THIS BUSINESS PROGRAMMING BCM'S WITH VIN# ALONE AND PROGRAMMING THEM UNISTALLED IN VEHICLES.

I am a shop owner from the cities. I purchased a used motor from this less then reputable facility. After install I immediately found the motor to have a blown head gasket. After speaking with all of the uneducated personal and becoming a little harsh I waited over a month for them to agree to pick it up, The dishonest owner Marc promised me that all of money would be refunded and that he is a man of his word. More than a week after returning the motor and 10 phone calls he credited me $550.00 of the $825.00 that I spent. After confronting him he said, if that is not good enough I could try and dispute it with my credit card company, that is all he is going to refund. Marc I guess I read the situation right from the beginning, you are a complete joke. Typical junk yard boys here, out in the sticks. Nothing but lies from the very beginning.

Great and friendly environment. Was able to have my speedo calibrated for the tires I ran in minutes with no hassel.

had a rear end switched out. come to find out a month and a half down the road I heard a clunking noise and realized my bolt was missing for the trailing arm to hold the axle in place. Thought maybe the bolt broke. So I take a look at the other side and all I saw was the bolt. no nut to hold it in place. According to Marc I took the nuts of myself then drove it like that. If that second bolt broke It could have caused a big accident. put mine and others life's in danger. I should have gotten my money back for the service. But they can't admit to there mistakeCrooked place
