I called and talked to a technician--not just someone to answer the phone! After discussing my car's problems, he convinced me that a BCM would not solve them. Expert help + convinced me NOT to buy = AMAZING

Edited 11/11/20: I just wanted to add onto my previous review. As a testament to this business's great review I gave earlier this year. I was showing early symptoms of the same BCM issue when my original module failed. I wrote an email to let them know and got a call the very next day. I was expecting to have to get another and maybe one at a slight discount but to my surprise they fully covered the module and have sent me out a new one and since have received it. I understand that all cases are not the same but that is the type of service they offer. If you have issues in a specific criteria and they can help in any way, they will certainly do that. AS A CUSTOMER YOU ALWAYS GET THE SERVICE AND COURTECY THAT YOU GIVE THE BUISNESS. Again I will rate this a 6 STAR business.Fast, Friendly, great service. I had an issue with my BCM on my 2002 Chevy Silverado 3500 Duramax Diesel. I originally sent the module to a repair shop out of Jacksonville FL. That was a nightmare compared to Deerings. If I thought it would have been so bad I would have gone this route in the first place. Deerings re-manufactured and programmed module was only $30 (and no core charge) more than the repair charge for my existing module that after almost a month of calls back and forth never happened. Because Deerings did not require your existing module or have a core charge I was able to order one from them and receive it before I got my original one back from the company out of Jacksonville FL. Now that wasn't the end of it. Although there was clear instructions with the module Deerings sent there was unusual issue with my truck after the relearn was done. I called Deerings and without even having to send the first faulty module back to them they sent me anther one with 24 hours of contacting them. Then said do not send the original bad one back until we get this resolved. To make matters worse the second was a huge improvement but there was still strange issues with my truck. I notified Deerings and let them know I was going to get it into my shop for them to check to ensure the module was good. It payed even better because there was also a faulty ground that was causing the other issues and this module was good to go. After about the same time frame of me working with this other company out of Florida, Deerings has sent me 2 modules and my trucks BCM is fixed and good to go. I will finally be shipping the first bad module back but felt this was something others should know about Deerings. Great people and outstanding service. I am glad to do business with companies like Deerings.

I purchased a BCM for my 2007 Escalade and called back after a couple days and talked to Joyce and she explained that they did not have the exact part number to fit my vehicle, but could program a different compatible module for me to try. She sent it next day air and although it did not fix the communication problem to my instrument cluster, it did help me eliminate this as the problem! Joyce explained that they are a family owned business and they did all they could to help me and in my case this was definitely worth trying to get the instrument cluster to start communicating again.

Pros:They promptly answer phone calls, provide helpful answersHonest business, competent technical staffYou save a lot of money using vs the dealership routeCons:It may take a week or more to get your partInstructions on installing/reset procedure are not very detailedI like the small business approach you get with HWY 71 Auto. Prompt response to calls. Good support. And from what I can see a good return/repair policy (I did not have to go this route)As others note, there are some frustrations with these overly complicated BCM/ECM installations/reset procedures. I had my own issues, but got it figured out and working on the 2nd try. Fortunately I did not have secondary problems (such as a bad ground) to further complicate things. But if you are not so lucky, please give them a call to ask about it - they should be able to get you rolling pretty quick.

Buyer's beware!!!! Ordered an ecm from these folks and it took over a week to ship it. I plugged the ecm in and my dash lit up like a Christmas tree. I've tried over and over again to get help from them about the problem and have only gotten the run around. I had no choice but to take my 2007 GMC sierra to the dealership to be scanned. Guess what!! They sent me an ecm for a Yukon and the vin number is no where close to what I sent them. $200 for an ecm and I still have a bad ecm. Very unprofessional and a really poor way to do business

I will absolutely recommend this place to everyone needing these parts. Their customer service was above and beyond! They were helpful and prompt at answering any questions. They even sent my part 2 day shipping because they new I needed my vehicle for work, and the shipping didnt cost me anything! It has been a long time since I've come across a business where they make you feel like your business really matters to them. They are awsome!

Great service. Called them regarding the Body Control Module I needed. Took a few days to receive it. Connected it, followed instructions to do key relearn, and presto! Car is running again. They did warned me about the "service air bag" message might come on and it did. But called my local mechanic and said it should turn off by itself in a few days. We will see...anyway...I saved over 57% of what dealer was going to charge...Happy Customer here.

I ordered a Body Control Module from these people. I called the next day and was told that there's normally a 1 day processing time, and then it's shipped out priority mail. However, they had a snowstorm, so it would be an extra day.I get a call a week later, asking me for the part number, even though they already had my vehicle information and VIN. She said they needed this to make sure they sent me the right part. Why a week later? Why not the next day? She then tells me they have 180 orders waiting to go out, and she's been working 18 hour days, etc.I gave her the part number, they didn't have that part, but they had a suitable replacement, based on my VIN, and would be sending that the next day. They never did need or use my part number, they were just stalling for time. When I asked for a manager, I was told she was the manager, and if I didn't like it she'd refund my money. This after waiting a week.

Had a wonderful experience with this company they were a life saver.I run a shop here in Arizona and we were dealing with Flagship One for a PCM. We asked then for a PCM on June 4th.Was told by the email it would be here 4-5 days later. I received it on June 24th. To those not counting that's 20 days. We put it in and they sent me one for a automatic transmission not manual.Called to get an RMA and get the correct PCM this took 20 phone calls and another 2 weeks. Katrina there is absolutely useless just FYI.Finally sent it away and by the time I canceled my order finally it was Sept 20th.That day I called Joyce @ Highway71 she had the PCM to me within 4 days. Now they made the same mistake FS1 made but to their credit it only took them 4 days to get me the right one and get this customer on the road. Not many manual Chevy HHR's on the road. These guys are going to be my goto from now on with PCM's. Thank you so much Joyce and your team.
