    We were very impressed by the level of professionalism and friendliness at Elgin smith salvage. Elaine, the lady in the office talked us through how to get to the scrap yard (I’m horrible with directions) and when we arrived, she took care of us right away and gave us cash money for our scrap. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend!

    I've never had a problem with the lady at the pay window/scale, she can be sassy but I wouldn't call her rude. What women aren't. They pay the highest price for ferrous scrap in the Callaway County area and will unload it for you. Elgin Smith sr is a good man, fair, and pays very good prices. That's hard to find in the scrap business.

    I have been going there most of my life but I won't be anymore. I can't keep dealing with that rude woman at the scale. She is even rude on the phone by hanging up on people and smarting off. I won't be returning and I know several people not returning again for the same reason. I'll go to David's recycling in Fulton from now on. They pay a little less but they are great people
