I do a lot of traveling up and down I-95N this location was relatively in reach as I blew a tire on a razor, Also needed my breaks changed. Figured I could stop in town get a hotel and see the town while my car is worked on. They told me it would be an easy 4hr job. It took 2 extra days for them to fix my vehicle among tinkering with things I did not request. I’m not sure if they’re used to seeing people of color but as I was waiting to pick my vehicle up; I did happen to over hear the Folsom crew speaking of “that black boy” which I was the only person in the lobby at the time coincidentally I’m African American.Be careful with who you do business with folks$1500 later dealing with extending hotels stay and the excess charge I received from Folsom is a bit of a hindrance in this time of a pandemicServices: Oil change, Brakes

Seemed like nice and knowledgeable people. I bought a motor for my van from them a little over a year ago. They said they could do the motor swap, and quoted me a price. The price went up twice during the work, at around $400 each time. When I finally get the van back, it ran fine for a couple days and then quit on me in the middle of traffic one day. I called them. They were very nice and came and got it. After a couple days, they told me that they could not locate the problem, but it was completely unrelated to the work that they did. I paid these guys well over $1000 only to have a dead, nonworking van. I would not recommend Folsoms for any work at all. Go somewhere else.

They have some people that work for them that are not knowledgeable. I had them get me a part for my truck. They looked the same(I had the old part with me) but part numbers where different. I insured them it would not work. The worker replies well I’d be out there all day to find the right one just try it and if it doesn’t work return it. I got no receipt either. So needless to say the part DID NOT work. So I had to make another trip out but they went good for it

The staff at Folsom r knowledgeable. I've bought truck parts there and have never had a problem getting the right parts at a fair price. I highly recommend Folsom's Auto Salvage to everyone who wants to be treated fairly when buying Auto parts. There polite and prompt

I happened to be traveling through Skowhegan ME and my experience with them was less then desirable.I don't even know what to say. The guy I talked to couldn't pronounce my name so he just started calling me Aladdin the whole time. When I asked what they found out about my vehicle they said I wouldn't understand because it was an "American made" vehicle. I drive a Toyota btw. Please just don't waste your time here.Maybe I would have better luck at this place if i showed up with my magic carpet and abu to help communicate with these "professionals"

They sold me good used parts so cheap that there is no way it covered the 20 minutes it took to pull them from a compatible vehicle. A nearby salvage yard refused to even look for brake rotors, citing "lot rust". Well, there may have been a bit of rust on this one but it's massive, intact, and my brakes are working great. I wouldn't be on the road right now if these guys hadn't gone the extra mile to help me out with a cheap used caliper and rotor. I feel like I owe them, really.

Sold me a transfer case for my 2004 Chevy Silverado that was bad, went back to have it swapped out for another with higher mileage and was told I would not be allowed a refund or money back based on mileage difference, had the second one put in by my mechanic to find out that too was bad, again went back to see what this business could do for me just to be yelled at and blamed and only given another transfer case to try out, was told over the phone that I could check it inside the vehicle so I could confirm it would work just to show up 20 minutes later and find them taking it out. Asked again if I could get any money back or have them pay for repair costs just to have them tell me to leave and that I could bring them to court. Have taken 2 days of work off, spend over $400 in labor and material for 2 separate transfer case that didn’t work just to be given another that they hope works. Very dirty business with no respect towards paying customers. Do not recommend

Those guys sold me 4 rims for my car. Reasonably priced. Carried them out to my car. Side note, views of mtns spectacular on way there and back. God and His handiwork💐

Took a vehicle up today for scrap purposes. I'd hoped to get a little more than they gave me, but didn't feel like trying elsewhere. Decent fella behind the counter and I've done business here in the past. Last time I was in they got me an ok Subaru engine, but it came out of an automatic, and mine was a standard so there were a few bumps in the road on that one. If you need used parts they can get them if they don't have them. So if your looking around try giving Folsom's a call. And don't be afraid to dicker on price....trust me they are not!
