Absolutely WILL never purchase from this company again. Purchased a Vacuum Fuel pump to replace an incorrect Non vacuum fuel pump that was put on car. Paid 95.00 Core charge on new fuel pump. Returned non vacuum fuel pump that was on the car as this was the only fuel pump to return. Waited a month for my core charge to be credited back. Finally had to call not once but twice to find out where my core credit was. Was then told that because I didn't return the EXACT same fuel pump that was purchased they were not going to refund my core credit. Never received my CORE fuel pump back either. So not only did they get my 95.00 core but a free fuel pump as well. I will not recommend this company. Sad as I like to support Fellow Small Businesses and especially those in my own state.

Automotive Cores HAVE to be the same, been this way for eons. Their incorrect core was sent back them. You cannot turn in a Mayo Jar for a Soda Can redemption value?The Pump Core "Phillips" sent in only had a $25 core charge for a Single Action Fuel Pump, and they wanted the $95 core credit for the Dual Action Fuel Pump. And they are not NEW, they are REBUILT.A = A, B = B, and A does not equal B.NO AUTOMOTIVE STORE WOULD EVER GIVE YOU CORE CREDIT FOR THE WRONG/DIFFERENT UNIT, NOT O'RIELYS, NOT NAPA, NOT AUTOZONE, NOT BAXTER, NOT Galvin's AMC Rambler Parts.Other vendors that require a core first for exchange only, would not have sold you the pump you needed. If it had been another Dual Action Pump, partial credit would of been given. As more people do not send in correct pumps, we are not forced to be exchange only on certain pumps including the one sent to Phillips.

I'd recommend Galvins to anyone. They spent 4 days back and forth on the phone with me. Sending me pictures. Me sending them pictures to make sure I got the right part.. It was hectic but they got it figured out. Great bunch of people as far as I'm concerned.

The customer service at Galvin's is terrible. I purchased a fuel pump along with a number of other parts. There was a $95 charge on the invoice for the core. In order to get a refund a core needed to be returned which I did on 4/18/19 but have not receive a refund. The first time we called they confirmed the core had been received but they were behind in issuing refunds. Just be patient they said. We made 4 more calls inquiring about the refund. Again they assured me the refund would be issued. It is now two months later and no refund has been received!!! I will not do business with this company again and would never recommend them to anyone!!

I recommend these guys. They know AMC parts and are very helpful. I plan on buying more parts for 1964 Rambler 770 Cross Country wagon soon!
