Horrible customer service. Definitely do NOT take your vehicle there for service. Said I needed work done that wasn't needed at a ridiculously inflated price. Left warrenty work unfinished that could have caused harm to me and my vehicle. Had to have work done elsewhere which I paid for out of pocket rather than trust them to do it right. Never again!!

Great experience, and seemingly good work too. Won't know how effective it is for some time but then that will be on GM if it isn't, rather than Butte GM auto. Friendly helpful staff from the appointment contact, to bringing the truck in, to answering questions, to finishing the work. Got the truck in for service the day after I called, even though the alternative in another town would have been one month later, sheesh. Got the truck right in to finish the work the next week when an additional part came in. Had to have a fuel injector, hydrocarbon injector and fuel rail pressure sensor replaced on my 2018 Duramax. Also cleaned the indirect injector of carbon. All under warranty.3 weeks later I'll add that on my first contact with the Parts dept on Dec 27 about availability of a block heater and cord for a recall repair, I was kind of rudely hung up on with something like, "those are on back order, have a nice day," click.

We were towing an RV and our transmission overheated and needed to be towed to GM in Butte. Where it was finally warranted. It took most of 4 weeks to get a new transmission which left our RV parked in their lot. They gave us a loaner (new car) which allowed us to get back home. However, the temperatures in Butte when down to 14 and the RV needed to be winterized. In the end Josh, their service manager, allowed us to use his truck to tow the RV back home. That really impressed me that he would give us his personal truck. He then brought back the loaner and retrieved his truck. This group is personable, friendly and did all thy could to meet our needs. If we were closer they would be our exclusive dealer.

The service department is a bad circus act. It took them 3 months to diagnose my truck for a transmission issue that was covered under warranty. Everytime I would take it in someone behind the desk would test drive it and tell me there is nothing wrong with it because there wasnt a check engine light on.they are mechanically declined in the office. Finally after multiple visits the mechanic in the shop went out of his way to make sure we figured out the problem. And thanks to him and him only we did.. oreillys has a better service department.

Staff was very responsive and got my vehicle into service quickly for diagnostic. Appreciate the quick service but the diagnostic cost of $130 seemed higher than typical. Need to return when the part comes in to complete the work.

I had bought a truck at Butte GM before and came back to buy another one because of the people and the treatment I received but this time through not fault of Butte GM the truck had received damage on the shipment of it on the train. To say the least I wasn't happy and I didn't want the truck so Butte GM stepped up and put a team together to solve the problem, Josh Holmes Manager of the service department was very helpful in getting all my concerns to the right people and my salesperson Braydi Knight who also found and ordered the truck that I wanted and although I can be tough to work with always kept a smile and worked hard to fix this unfortunate situation, and last but not the least is Chris Cook the General Manager who has the position for a good reason, he also had to put up with me and 1st found me a great 1.9 interest rate and put together a deal that was the best deal I have ever received in my 50 years of car buying experience,. I have purchased a lot of vehicles in those 50 years and in the last 12 years I have purchased 15 vehicles. This had happened to me once before at Dee Motors but once the car was sold and it had what is referred to as tiger stripes in the paint Dee motors stepped away from helping me and after 4 months of dealing with Dodge corporate the charger was taken back and I was reimbursed but it was a experience I never want to encounter again so I will never but at Dee Motors again and Dee motors logo that they will always treat you right is just words with no meaning but at Butte GM thanks to Braydi Knight and Chris Cook along with Josh Holmes I will always buy a vehicle from them and it will be the first place I go,they went above and beyond the call of duty to make things right and I will buy again. Great first service on my new truck!!! Owen is a very knowledgeable, and professional technician who made certain my questions and concerns were answered. The service writers were pleasant and professional as well. Great experience!!!

I was driving my Silverado from Washington to Wyoming and as I got close to Butte, my pickup started to lose power. I called the service department at GM of Butte to see if they could help me. They said they could get it in right away. The technician quickly diagnosed the problem, fortunately it was simply a plugged air filter (that my dealership in WA had failed to change during my last oil change), they replaced it, and I was able to continue on my trip. I really appreciated the willingness and promptness of all the staff at GM of Butte who solved my problem. Thank you!
