Very disappointed! I ordered a used transfer case for a three-quarter ton pickup then waited about a week and a half for it to come in. I had to disassemble the drivetrain to pull the old one out. Went to put the new one in and discovered I was sold a transfer case for a half ton pickup. When I called to find out what I needed to do to exchange it, I was accused of giving them the wrong information on my truck. Really?!? I own six trucks, all of which are three-quarter ton and 1-ton pickups. I think I know what I own. I gave him all the information I had, he ordered it wrong. I was supposed to get a call back “in 10 minutes.“. I’ve now tried to call back three times. They stuck me on hold the first two times. I called back after an hour and again at 2 hours, It's now been 24 hours with no response. In the meantime, I have a truck that is partially disassembled and not drivable. I will be returning the transfer case they sold me incorrectly. If they do not return my money in full things are going to get ugly. If they do the right thing, I’ll remove this review. ********************************* UPDATED So I went into Harris trucks just now to get a refund and return their transfer case. I spoke to Richard, the same guy I had dealt with all along on this transaction. First, I was told by Richard the computer was down and he had no idea when it would come up so he couldn’t do anything for me. I told him I wanted a full refund and left the transfer case with him. I took pictures of Richard behind the desk and the transfer case on the counter. He said that they would probably charge me a 20% restock fee. I told him they’re not charging me a restock fee because they ordered the wrong part. He went on to say that he had a new one on the way. I told him I already bought one and just needed a full refund. Then he says he never got the opportunity to get me the right part. I told him he told me yesterday he would call me back in 10 minutes. That was at 10:18 AM yesterday morning and he never called me up to the point I walked in there today at 3:15. He then got belligerent and said they’re understaffed but apparently “you don’t give a F about that”. I repeated to him what he said to me and said “you’re right I don’t give a F about that”. I told him I called three times yesterday and kept getting put on hold. If anyone had extended the courtesy of a phone call then this would not have gotten out of hand. We exchanged a few more words about how I was going to get my money back, I took pictures to prove I’ve left the transfer case with him. Apparently, I was just supposed to wait indefinitely to hear back from them and supposedly he’d ordered another one, but never told me that. Apparently, I was supposed to read his mind to know that they would ordered another one for me.

Resto mods are Jeffs speciality, the 500 hp cammed LS6 78 Stepside is a beauty thanks Jeff and team! The overbuilt 8.1 liter one ton Suburban with 350,000 miles eats other SUVs for breakfast and tows 12,000 lbs. I will NEVER have work done ANYWHERE but Harris Truck Parts.

Horrible customer service called to ask about a part and got attitude from one of the sales people his name was Jeff if I could give 0 stars horrible customer service
- AAsmellyHippie
This place is kind of a joke, super rude man behind the counter and acted like I was wasting his time. “Truck parts” is a broad term, they had nothing I needed. When asked about a part, the man behind the counter gave me a “are you dumb” look every single time. I’ll never be back, or send anyone I know here.

Every business transaction I've had with Jeff has been top notch! Very friendly and personable, which is not something we can always find in this industry. Thank you Jeff!

I've been buying parts here for years and Jeff the owner, and Sean on the counter, have been so helpful to me. Friendly, efficient service and very fair prices. I own an auto repair shop and spend more time in salvage yards than most, and I can tell you these guys are a cut above. They are always my first call when I need used truck parts. Very pleased.

We found a fender on Car-part.com that was listed as black, grade A. I called Harris to confirm and purchase. We had a customer pick it up for us and then we drove 4 hours round trip on a weekend it pick it up from the customer. The fender was very clearly gray, had a rolled edge and scratches down to the metal. When we called to ask about returning the following Monday, they said not a problem. When the customer brought the fender back for us, they then told him it would be a 20% restocking fee. I challenged it stating that the fender was not grade A or black and they said, 'We don't color match or guarantee quality. We just sell fenders.' What!!! They charged us the 20% restocking fee and then walked into the other room and chucked it on a shelf. They put it right back on Car-parts as Black but now it is listed as 'Ungraded'. Unbelievable. I should have looked at the pictures more carefully and told the customer what he needed to look for during pickup. I just didn't think I had to for a company that only sells used parts. No color lookup from the vin? Didn't even clean it off to check quality? Seriously. At least I didn't pay the $165 they were trying to charge me to ship it 2 hours north. Lesson learned. Don't buy anything from them unless you can physically go in and verify the quality and color first.

Good and bad. I went to about 15 places to find a used part no one could find and some claimed they could fond a cheaper version. (Or in two cases wanted to charge more than the dealership for new). These guys found it in less than 5 minutes for me and quoted me for literally half the price of new, to the dollar, but said they'd have to grab it from a Denver guy later this week. So I called the Denver guy and he gave me a price at cheaper than Harris. So while that is upsetting to done, the sheer factor he could find that specific part so fast and reliable is what made me a Harris customer. They price a few dollars more on things but the reality is what you pay for at Harris is moot only the convenience but anybody you can rely on to help you when you need it.

Went there to get a part for my truck. Customer service was horrible. One guy was just flirting with a lady . The lady seem like she didn't know anything. She was very rude and unprofessional. I've been a customer for years usually I go in there and everything is done right. After I had to deal with the lady messing up my order and being rude finally a nice young gentlemen helped me. Will continue to go back just hope that lady gets in a better working mentality.

Told me they had a grade A fender over the phone. Told them I would come in on my lunch the next day. Drove a long way to get there and they were closed for lunch which they didn’t tell me over the phone. Fender ended up bing junk. Full of dents and rust. Place is a filthy dungeon with terrible customer service.
- ccameron vandebrake
Just looking for an ECM. Was told over the phone they were vin specific. I simply stated that as long as they had the same engine and transmission it should work? Got nothing but sarcasm "well you would certainly know better then me wouldn't you!". Jackass. You guys have always had the shiftiest attitudes every time I talk to you. If you don't enjoy your job go find a new one.
- WWayne Ault
I have bought 20 thousand from these guys never had an issues. Now they sell me some new jeep axles for a Wrangler. aftermarket.. chinese parts. they fail in a week.. been three weeks fighting for my money back. Never use these guys. They don't abide by their warranty. Shawn is rude and will not return calls credit card fraud!!!
- FFamily Of Storys
My goodness was this the right place to come!! Steered us clear from working with a jerk nearby. Great prices, FANTASTIC customer service. Nicest guys in Colorado Springs! We will definitely be recommending these guys!
- jjustin hajek
These guys are awesome!! very Knowledgeable and made my repair cheap and friendly. Made a trans swap in less then 24hrs which i was thrilled about i will definitely use them again in the future forsure. I highly recommend these guys top notch service forsure.
- gglenn patterson
The staff is rude. Interjects themselves into conversations. Bought a turbo they said was "guaranteed to fit and work" on my truck. It did not work and I was told by both Ford and Garrett that it was the wrong turbo for my truck. Harris staff continued saying it was the correct one and charged me a restocking fee for taking back the wrong part in the first place. Would not recommend getting mechanical parts from them. Maybe a piece of glass or a hubcap, those are kinda hard to mess up. Plus the sales tax was not refunded on the return and the restock fee was taxed.
- jjames lamborn
Always go here for anything I need ❤️ wouldn't go anywhere else, had my tailgate, even color match
- MMike Lopez
Before you try to buy an engine from these guys know this; you should call auto parts stores and check car-part first. Harris wants $4500 for a 20 year old chevy 6.0l. I told him that I could get a reman for $3k and he said good luck. Well, you actually can. To have a 6.0l rebuilt you are looking at $4000. Why on earth would anyone pay $4000 for a used engine?? This is called gouging. Good news is, there are several 6.0l's on car-part and found one reasonably priced at $1400. You should be ashamed of yourself!
- SSquid Li
After calling and being assured several times, "this is the right part, it's complete, of course it'll fit your truck". I drive the 75 miles to look at half the part and get told "oh we can get it tomorrow same price" I could have MADE that part had I not wasted time and diesel on this place.
- JJoe
Went down to ask about a bumper in which I was greeted by a guy with a very negative attitude. Tried to ask if they could price match or anything but the guy rudely interrupted me and told me just to buy it elsewhere.
- JJames George
Called for a coolant tank they quoted me 65 bucks. Autozone was 39.95 brand new. I told the guy that and he said 65 bucks.. don't go here unless you want to pay more then new......... con artist is what these guys are.
- TTim_buk_u
Didn't have what I needed in stock, so they ordered it. Said it would be there the next day. Wrong part showed up. Re-ordered, and part still wasn't there a week later. Felt like I was getting the runaround on something I had already paid for and didn't receive. Customer service lacks professionalism, and customer care.
- SShilah Marette (ShiGirl)
The locations are far from me but worth it. Friendly staff, very helpful. They take the time to give you alternatives if they dont have what you need. Prices are pretty good. Low to average for most parts. A little high on a few. But they make the whole experience a littel less painfull.
- MMike Reisenleiter
I highly recommend Harris Used Parts. I dealt with Jeff, he was super helpful and found exactly what I needed (for an odd application!) at an excellent price. I'll definitely be going back for both car and truck parts.
- PPhillip Eckard
If Shaun picks up the phone ask for Leo or Jeff. Your experience with this place can be very different depending on who you talk to: Jeff is awesome, super nice and knowledgeable, and Leo is great too, but Shaun is the rotten apple that spoils the barrel - rude, lazy and a crook 100%
- sscott moore
I called and was told that they had a master cylinder for my vehicle. I took off 3 hours early from work ($90 in overtime) and drove down from Denver to find out that "it's not on location" not even an apology
- FFox
Went to two different used parts places then called Harris Used truck. I said I doubt you have the part I need. He said I bet we have it. Brought him the bad part, he matched it up and got me going again. Harris saved Holloween for my four girls! Thank you Harris Used Parts!
- TT-Jay Juker
Got a few parts for my Toyota to include back glass and a few hard to find things. Great service.
- DDipatch Jamey
These guys sold me the wrong part, then charged me a 20% restock fee. I'll shop online from now on. 1 star is because I cant leave 0. Edit; they gave me my 20% back 2 days later upgraded to 3 stars for inconvenient situation.
- RRachel Borchert
Called Harris Used Truck Parts to see if they had a part I was looking for and the man who answered the phone was rude, and incredibly condescending. Bad customer service.
- GGerald Moore
Terrible customer service. I called for prices and was supprised to see how they answered the phone. Gave me attitude before i even said hello. Parts are way over priced.
