Great customer service, they made sure I was very happy with my salvaged parts before the purchase. Very reasonable pricing. I highly recommend this place for your used auto parts !! Thank you very much! 😎💰😎

Ordered a grille for a Jeep in our inventory. Came shipped quickly, packed properly and as described! Great customer service Sean! Highly recommend!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Got a rear end for my chevy. Turns out it wasn't in the best shape as I took it to a Trans specialist. Called Howells and told them I was bringing it back. He argued with me then said "whatever" then hung up the phone. Then when I got there he snatched my Card out of my hand to refund the money, tossed the paper receipt to me on the counter. And to add any other parts yard will charge 150 to 250 on a rear end. His was $430! I run a business and I'd have never talked to my customers the way he did. He even said and I quote "I don't care what the transmission specialist said I pulled the cover off and it was good" the bearings in the end were bad and rough and had alot of play in them on top of it its rusted all to hell. His excuse "it's a 30 year old truck" funny the truck it would have gone in is older and didn't look like that. Very unprofessional, very rude, over priced.

Phenomenal Customer service. The staff was very patient and helpful. I can't wait to finally have my car back up in running this week! They assured me the transmission I'm purchasing is in good condition. They do not take payment over the phone, which isn't a big deal. It's honestly a good safety practice on their end. Thank you Howell's Auto Parts!

The employees were courteous and helpful. They also pull the part for you.

Shawn and his team are always professional and knowledgeable. I have used them for many years and always happy with the service provided.

Sean at Howells used auto parts is the best and honest guy ....always knowledgeable and fast service...if yaw need good parts ask for sean
- MMonica Smilko
Keep track of all parts off all of their vehicles on their computer, so no guessing. They take you back to view parts on a golf cart, so no walking through mud or puddles. And they pull the parts for you, and call when ready, so no work. And prices are comparable or better than other scrap yards. Employees are polite and knowledgeable
- KK Moose
Very easy to work with. Called about a part I saw online and Sean immediately went out and took photographs so I could check more closely for condition. Price was very reasonable and he shipped part that day. Very professional. UPDATE: got the part the NEXT DAY!!! Who does that??? Beyond pleased!
- LLisa McCoy
I worked with Richard to get a kind of obscure part for my Tahoe. He took the time to get the part and verify it was exactly what I needed when other yards didn't even bother with a quote. The price was also very reasonable, including shipping (it was packaged well). Communication was always extremely fast (email). He got the part out the same day I paid and I had it the following business day. Can't ask for any better than that!

Good service. I bought a used wiring harness for an early 1990s pickup truck. It wasn't in the condition I had asked for, so I can't give them 5/5, but they worked with me to come to an equitable solution for everyone. I am satisfied that they are staffed with good people who will work with you when the almost inevitable problem with older used electronic equipment arises. I would use them again.

The worst customer service I've ever experienced. For absolutely no reason, the guy decided to intentionally hang up on me while I was trying to pay for a part. When I called back and I asked if the phone got disconnected at my end, he was more than happy to confirm that he intentionally hung up on me stating that he did so because he determined that the conversation was over. I've been ordering from Howell's for at least 4 years, and I placed more than 10 orders with them. This will be the last time they see my business (which what the guy suggested anyways after I expressed my anger with his treatment). Response to owner: I did not call 5 times trying to haggle your salesman for a price, I called 2 times, the first time to confirm availability, and second time to pay for it. The second time when I called I asked for a $100 discount and was told no, I immediately agreed to the price, and informed the salesman that I was going to pay for it, and that's when he hung up on me. You know, you didn't even try to get my side of the story, and fabricating a story to justify your rude behavior isn't the proper way especially when you use the "the best customer service in town" slogan. Thanks for nothing.

My suggestion is to never use Howell's Auto Parts. They're quick to process your order but if there's a mistake or you need to return a part for a refund it will never happen. I've been waiting for over a week to get refunded for a part that I shipped back to which the sales person (Sean) assured me that it would be taken care off right away. Its a week later and after various calls throughout the week letting him know that I have not received my money back and him telling me that its being done, I got tired of being patient with them and now have my attorney working a case on this problem. DON'T USE THEM AND SAVE YOURSELF AN UNNECESSARY HASSLE.

This business is great to get random parts. We are a prop and hobby shop, so we end up digging through thrift stores and yard sales searching for random things. Recently we needed some bright 12v LED lights for a prop-project for a comic-con, like you would find on vehicles. The local parts stores kept wanting to know what vehicle year and make or they couldn't help us. Howells Auto let us look at some "scrap" vehicles and we bought some tail lamps that fit perfectly for our prop. Thank you Sean and Steve!

THESE "GOOD OLE BOYS" ARE BAD BAD BAD! In fact, describing them as bad is a huge understatement. I called about a part which they said they had in stock. They quoted a price of $50. We then called again to make sure they had the part because we would have to rent a vehicle just to purchase this part (alternator) and this place was 20 miles away. But after arriving and confirming through two prior phone calls that they had the part, we were told that not only did they not have it, it would be another $20 extra if we wanted them to get one for us. To me this is BAIT AND SWITCH...isn't it? I called the next day to complain to the owner. He was unapologetic, unprofessional and down right nasty. I told him I was leaving a bad review and he said, "big deal, I will just leave a rebuttle." Sounds to me like he has a lot of experience leaving rebuttles. They are a bunch of good ole boys with bad attitudes. We found the alternator elsewhere and only 5 miles away and they even offered to pull the part for us to make sure they had it in stock before driving there. Wish I had called them first. Do your own due diligence, call around for the part you need and don't give Howell's a chance, they don't deserve it. Just read some of their other reviews.

There used car parts are higher then new car parts at real auto parts places check the prices at the auto parts store to compare they will rip u off they don't tell you there return policy. I price part for my car that was new only was a 11.00 dollars different from them pricing they sold me for used parts. I should have just got the new parts .. Rip off bad attitude places of business..Used head lights from them are 100.00 a piece Amazon got them 150.00 for both pieces..

This place has the worst customer services ever. We called about a battery they said that had. We drive to the place. And then the big guy behind the desk says that they don't have the battery. We waste our time going out of the way. Just don't deal with these morons. The guy flip us off and said he did not have time for our s#$%. My went in to complain and was cussed out and even physically threatened by the guy. We seen the other reviews but went any ways. We should have listen to the reviews and now I understand why the parking lot is empty

Great auto parts place they always have what I needed over the last 10 years I've never gotten a bad part never had to return anything even though I live downtown in Springfield the driveway out to Chaffee Road is an experience within itself

I called for a part for my car and was told that they had it in stock. after driving 45 minutes in Jacksonville traffic and paying tolls to get there I am told "Oh we sold that motor and the AC compressor doesn't have a shelf location." Then after checking: "Oh no we don't have it." No apology, nothing. I have worked in the car business for a majority of my life and I would never do this to a customer. They will NEVER get any business from me or any dealership I am associated with.

I ordered a passenger door interior panel for my car, a 2009 Cobalt LT 2-door sport coupe last week to replace the existing panel which had been pulled out. It arrived yesterday and I had it installed today. It looks terrific. Very little or no signs of wear and it fit perfectly. Quick delivery turnover as well.

This place is AWFUL! The guys that work there are sloppy and rude. Unprofessional doesn't begin to describe them. I won't bore you with the details but I encourage you to go elsewhere. I don't believe scruples or customer service is even in their vocabulary. I wish I had read all the other reviews before I went there. It would have saved me so much time, money and aggravation. Apparently they have been treating people poorly for many years now. Read some of their other reviews. Their standard operating procedure seems to be neglectful and unprofessional customer service.
- RRenee Smith
Requested an engine for a 03 Dodge Durango & when it was being installed in my truck, turns out they sold me an engine from a Dodge Ram that is too big. $1000 wasted & have been hard to sell, how could this business have made a careless mistake??? The receipt clearly shows that I needed it for a Dodge Durango, this engine does not fit any Durango models smh! I wish I could give 0 stars

In the ever-changing market of used auto parts, wheels are hard to come by especially standard steel wheels. After a long search all around Jacksonville Florida dealing with a lot of salvage yards that no longer keep up with wheels I called Howells. These guys were Johnny on the spot and very polite, they knew what they had and we're very eager to assist me. When I arrived and stated that I had called previously about the wheels I was not forgotten the product was brought up very quickly I paid and was gone in just a matter of minutes. Kudos to the Howells used auto parts staff!!

Bought a part from them and it didn't work. Returned it and ordered a new one the same day and charged me more. The guy said it will be here by Friday. Never heard back from him. Called Monday and he said yeah it showed up and it's broke. Refused to work with me on pricing because I had already driven out there twice(30 minutes 1 way) and couldn't bother to let me know what was going on. I don't recommend this place.
- TTanner Jones
After confirming they had the part I needed over the phone I drove there (not close). Waited for them to search the computer (again) I waited for them to pull the part just to be told they actually didn’t have it, they already sold it. I get it’s a used parts place but I went to a DIFFERENT auto recycling place and they were courteous, clean, proficient and organized... so there’s no excuse.

When your money is tight Howell will do you right. Best used part

This is Hut's Garage in Cedartown, Ga. I found you guys online. I want to give a big shout out to one of your employees , Richard. I ordered a wiring harness for a 2000 Cadillac Escalade, I feel as though he went above and beyond getting every piece that I needed, and stayed on top of the situation. I was very impressed with his professionalism. I will definitely keep you in mind next time I need something.
- KKevin Yox
Knowledgeable and great group of guys to work with. Got me exactly what part I needed at a good price and now my car is back to working how it should. Highly recommend Howell's Auto Parts...
- RRoberto Ford
Quick story without all the punctuation a friend of mine calls me and says hey would you ride with me out to the junkyard and of course I said yes so we make it out there and I get the tool box out of the car and we enter the shop so she orders her part and then I'm thinking you know what I need a window for my vehicle lo and behold they have the window that I need but the best part was we didn't have to use the tools because they pulled everything for us the price was phenomenal the AC in the shop worked I had a good time and five stars for the shop
- mmichael shoda
