I hit what I think was a landscape boulder in the middle of University last Monday night and had a flat thirty minutes later. I find out the next day that I had holes in my wheel. I had a weird wheel size and specification, which I could not find a replacement for at almost fifteen businesses. HWY 5 Auto Salvage didn't sell me anything, but the representative (who's name I forgot) spent ten minutes on the phone with me while he searched other companies inventories he could see to find me a matching OEM wheel at another salvage yard that was not only the exact match but literally the only match my for size wheel in the LTR area after hours of searching. I'm only sorry I couldn't give HWY 5 my business!

I just bought a 2016 dodge caravan from them have not had it for a month.. We saw that it had a bad transmission on the windshield and ask he said he puts little notes on cars when he pays them but the transmission was good they rebuilt it .. so we took it on a test drive and he said it was a good vehicle… haven’t had it a month and the transmission has gone bad on us .. don’t trust this people on buying vehicles, they had to rig it up cause when we tested drives it , it was fine .. now I’m stuck with a van with no transmission.. be careful with these people on purchasing vehicles from them.. we was going to buy another vehicle but now I’m not ..

Just had a very disappointing experience at Hwy 5 Auto Salvage. Went to get a replacement Air Vent Grill for my Toyota Camry. I arrive and he confirms they have it. Awesome! However, he then tells me he does not have anyone to go pull the product off the car for me. They’re all busy helping someone else. Mind you, it is 3:30pm, an hour and a half before close. I even offered to step outside so he could lock up the office and go get it himself. The part is pictured below. It takes less than 60 seconds to disengage it from the dashboard with a flathead screwdriver. The guy at the counter said he could not do that because he had to watch the phones. So, phones are more important than the customer in front of you? He said I would have to come back on Monday to get the part. Today is Friday. If I wanted the part on Monday, I would have just ordered it online and not inconvenienced myself with the drive to your business. Here is my issue. You small business owners want consumers, us, to support you over online retailers. Yet, how can you expect us to give you our business after experiences like this one? I came to you so I could get the part today, not 3 days from now. I was willing to pay more for local business so I could have the part today. Unfortunately, I won’t be back on Monday. Online retailers win again. Save your time on this place, folks. Just find the part online. You run the risk of Hwy 5 Auto Salvage dangling the part you need in your face and telling you that you can’t have it. I honestly just can’t fathom refusing a sale. My mind is blown.

I would leave no stars if I could. Car-Mart sent my Jeep in to have a complete overhaul done on the lifters, rear main seal, CV axle for the 4WD was supposed to be replaced and guess what... The only thing that was actually correctly done was the rear main seal it looks like for now. DONT USE THIS PLACE FOR ANY KINDA WARRANTY SERVICING. ILL BE CONTACTING CAR MARTS CORPORATE OFFICE AS WELL AS MY LAWYER OVER THIS MATTER. ALSO GOING TO CONTACT THE BBB AS WELL. AND IT DONT HELP THAT NEARLY ALL THE MECHANIC TECHS ARE STRUNG OUT ON MISC TYPES OF DRUGS SO

I called Hwy 5 auto Salvage ask for a part for 2017 gmc terrain. High pressure fuel pump on top of the engine, the told me they had one.. So when I came I told him here pick up part I called about the high pressure fuel pump. I drove all way out here, he said they don't have it.. I said you could have told me this over the phone. I would not driven out here.. Bad business you hv the computer right on ur face.. I'll never come back will not Referral Anyone to this place again.

It is always tragic when you or a loved one is in a wreck. My daughter was in a wreck in Little Rock on her way back from New Orleans to our home in Kansas. Luckily she was ok but the car was totaled and was towed to J Hook's tow shop. They were the most insensitive horrible place to deal with. I had to have the car removed from the tow shop immediately. Highway Auto 5 was the 2nd salvage shop I called. I have never met a group of people so willing to help. They went out of their way to deal with the tow company and help me avoid any further charges. Highway 5 Salvage gave us a fair price for the car and elevated some of the stress that we were dealing with. They made me feel that me and my situation was important to them and they provided the highest level of customer service. I highly recommend Highway 5 Auto Salvage!

I found these guys thru a series of referrals and it was the best thing that could have happened. They are fantastic people who do amazing and honest work and even installed my window for me. Broke vehicle from this place, was told it was a very good car,got it from a older man who has passed. Car sold for 3600 cash, and wouldn't bulge a dollar less, 1 week the car died has to have it towed,they ran tests and determine it was the computer,then they said it was the coils, week 3 vehicle stops again had it towed again, took it to a garage test were done on it and was told the compression was bad valve 4,5,6 had no pressure as well as 1,2 with very little. Contacted hwy 5 auto salvage it they would not honor repairs or meet me part way. I would not recommend this shop to anyone to purchase a vehicle,if you in need of a vehicle please don't stop there, keep searching until you find a reputable business, run ,run run you been warned!!!
