This week I decided to clean the house out a bit and had some big things I had to get rid of. Around where I live lots of people just put things at the end of their driveway but they sit for awhile. I decided to call John's to make a scheduled pick up for my things. I told them what I had waiting, (You get a one time pick up a month for free) and they said they would pick it up the next day. I took my stuff and put it outside. To my surprise they did come and take my stuff at a decent time:] Very pleased:]

I call at least 10 times a year, minimum, because they either skip my garbage or recycling. Very unprofessional that this is an ongoing issue I’ve been having with this company for years!! It’s not as though the bins are small, they’re huge. No trees or cars in the way to make it hard to see them sitting on the driveway by the street. After picking up my recycling yesterday and leaving the garage, I’m going to start documenting all the missed days and see if I can get my trash collection bill reduced. Why should I be paying for services I’m either not receiving or have to frequently call and remind them to do their job? The people in the office are very nice when I call and offer to have it picked up. I used to say no, that I’d wait till following pickup day, but not anymore. It just happens too much, so they can come get it before next collection day.

One of their drivers nearly caused a wreck the other day on highway 59.The driver then refused to pull over to provide any information. I called their office to try report it and was told a supervisor would be in touch.I haven't heard anything since.Their driver pulled out onto the highway without looking, absolutely nuts. I didn't have time to stop and was forced to swerve into the opposing lane of traffic.This is an incredibly dangerous situation and needs to be taken more seriously.No one got hurt this time, but if no one addresses the driver who knows what happens next time. It's scary to think about. I hope someone there sees this and takes the time to deal with it before that driver get someone killed.

I signed in and waiting 6 hours in this company then the shipper come to me we don’t have load for you. A mess company no communication with brokers

Garbage of a garbage disposal service, drivers refuse to take the loveseat I have set out and called on 3 weeks in a row. I have now been told for the second week time that my item will be picked up next week.

This company does our city's collection. Our house gets missed a lot. When I call for missed collection it usually takes days (and multiple calls) for someone to come or they don't come at all. We have gotten to a point where we stopped calling them to report the missed collection because they don't bother anyway. This week they flat out told me they weren't going to fix their mistake of missing both trash and recycling collection. Just very disappointing.

John's disposal runs a tight ship and is a close-knit family business. Our experience with them was nothing but positive, and our customers and associates who have them speak highly of them as well. We would not hesitate to work with them again!

John's Disposal has, too often, dumped their garbage containers on our lawn rather than placing them where we did- on the driveway next to the street. I called after the latest time and asked to speak with a manager. Nope, no manager available, and no voicemail available, so I could not leave a message. So I wrote this review. Folks, draw your own conclusion on working with this company.

I've been here for 19 years and never had a problem with pickup. I don't always put the carts out if they are not full. I cleaned the lot and had a lot of tires. I called and they said it would be an extra charge and they came and picked everything up. They are much better than the service we received in Milwaukee. The drivers seem friendly and wave. Follow the rules and all should go well. Thanks for the service.

Until this season, service has been outstanding. Two recent events leave me wondering. After Memorial Day weekend, our recycled container was full, and we used two other containers for excess material. We have used these others a number of times in the past. This time the driver not only took the recycled material but also the two containers. Then this week, the trash hauler never showed up on our road. It took a phone on my part to John's the second day to report lack of pickup. Gives appearance that we have less-than- caring person on our route.
