We had an old swing set that I took apart. There were a few long beams that were just too big. I found Junk-King online and setup an appt the next day. 2 hour window, and the driver called me 15 min before arrival. Very reasonable price. Took everything and cleaned up. Unreal professionalism. The local franchise owner dropped the dumpster off. I was overweight by 820lbs + mattress & box spring disposal fees. Scheduling and drop off was a breeze. Had a lot of rain over two of the three days we had the dumpster. I called to inquire about water weight. I was told “everybody pays, what do you want me to do? Go based on the honor system and you tell me there is this much water and I deduct the price??” I was shocked at the arrogance and unprofessional approach to a legitimate concern. I told him he didn’t need to speak to me that way as I wasn’t asking for a discount or not to pay or to have the equipment longer. I simply wanted to know the policy to know what to expect. Maybe I shouldn’t have done that because a $325 dumpster with 2000 free pounds turned into $700!!!! I think they are a cheat and steal. Furthermore you’re supposed to be asked how you want to pay for the balance and theoretically be able to dispute it. Nope.
