I'm 66 years old and have always loved going to junkyard. Well, I mean, I used to. Greed is an amazing thing, it can change the landscape of anything. I've sold several vehicles over the last few years for junk that have wound up hear. The most I was ever paid for one was $300. These guys can over price the parts of those vehicles where when added up, equals more than the original blue book price of the vehicle. It just takes time and each vehicle they have is like money in the bank. Everything about this place is about deception. They hide all kind of fees and their on line prices are just to mislead and get you there. Great how they put all the environmental fees on customers. Core charges on things that are never or no longer rebuilt? Responses to reviews is only lip service. Do yourselves a favor, order parts online or buy new. You'll save time and money in the long run. Together, we can stop this kind of feeding frenzy on us by not buying from them.

Used to come here a lot, but they either scalp the good stuff and jack up the price to put it on sale, or they price 'premium' vehicles that make it not worth coming to pick up parts. Even the parts themselves were getting priced according to the vehicle brand. For not much more, I can go get a brand new part elsewhere. They automatically charge warranty on EVERYTHING that you buy, so you now have to decline or be forced to pay an extra $5 for a piece of plastic. And their photographer sucks. I don't know if they do it on purpose, or they just don't care about their job. 2 stars cause the crew is pretty decent peeps.

I drove an hour to get there after checking their website which indicated they had what I was looking for. They did not have it. Their lot is huge with no map or carts to get you around, so plan on a hike. Plus, they charge a $10 fee, just for the honor to get into a salvage lot and hike around. Wow, never seen that before.

This was the second time I have been at this location and will be the last. Normally go to Huntsville location, however, this location in Chattanooga had the vehicle that I needed. First of all the pricing online did not in anyway match what I was charged on location. I'm surprised at the "admission fee" that was $3 in Huntsville is $5 in Chattanooga, you pay to enter what is essentially "a junkyard", you are given a location of the vehicle, you perform the work removing the part(s), deliver the parts to the counter. The "parts counter customer service representative" taps away at the computer, a number of different prices start popping up and low and behold you start getting your a** handed to you in the end. 4 fuel injectors out of 2007 Jeep Compass, fuel bar, two taillight assembly's, one cracked by the way, Grand total $219.78!! WTH. Online pricing had these items (7) priced at $97.00 (rounded up)- no warranties, just parts. So how does $97 turn into $220- that's easy, they charge what they want, $64 for injectors, $25 fuel bar, $45 for each taillight assembly, then charged environmental fee, taxes, and without being asked, 90 day warranties on junkyard parts equating to just over $35. You charge a warranty fee on a cracked/busted item- $52.00 in fees. Online pricing versus on-site pricing was a difference of $71.00. Before going to this location, check out your local used parts dealers or do what I did, return the items, get on Amazon, and for $138.91, all items mentioned above were purchased- no entrance fees, no environmental fees, no warranty fees. They will continue to rip off the consumer because they keep getting away with it. Update: Just found out they are charging between $3-5 for entrance fee, guess this now depends on who you are.

The prices here are a joke you can get most of the stuff off ebay for same or cheaper and not even have to leave your house. 9 something for a warranty and they don't even ask if you want it or not. Cfc or pick and pull are way better than any lkq. Eddit: 11/4 Your copy paste reply doesn't really fix anything take a look at what your selling and how people are getting the part and adjust accordingly. Have your people ask and don't assume we need or want your $9 to $10 dollar warranty.

Very well organized and safe. It is easy to walk to the vehicle you are looking for and see if the parts you need are there. The pricing is very good as well.

Been here many times. I’ve always enjoyed the experience. The place is organized, and if you are unsure of where to look, the employees will be happy to help you by providing a map of the yard and where you’re going to find certain vehicles. There’s a $3 entry fee, which isn’t bad. Once you open the doors to the junkyard, it’s almost another world. There are vehicles as far as the eye can see. Just make sure to bring all the tools you’ll need. Wheelbarrows are provided. Once you pull the parts you need, there are pumping sinks by the door with gritty soap so you can wash your hands if you’d like. Prepare to get a little dirty when removing parts lol. The parts are by far priced cheaper than you could get anywhere else. For instance a lightly worn headlight assembly for a Honda Odyssey was over 80% off what you would pay brand new. So you definitely can get oem products for a great deal! I like LKQ because of how neat and organized the experience is. And the cool thing is it sits not too far from towering Lookout Mountain. So you get a pretty cool view while you’re working. One last word of advice tho, make sure to stay hydrated and bring something to drink! Because once you’re deep in the yard, it’ll take you sometimes several minutes just to walk back. Happy pulling!

Head count keeps going up. Was just $3 per person last year, now it's $5 per person. And they continue to increase their prices on everything by almost double. Engines used to be $250, now they are almost $500. And now they are adding core charges to alot of things that did not ever have core charges. Getting greedy.

Prices are completely wrong vs online listing then they sneak in a extra warranty charge on every part that if you don't notice before you walk out the door they will not refund you this place has become a joke even worse just a complete rip off never will step foot in this place again

This place is a joke first thing they word there stuff online so you can't figure out pricing of what you need. Second they tried to charge me more then what I could get the parts online brand new. And then charge you 15 $ to garuntee the part will work for 30 days. Funny thing is they were headlight assemblies nothing electrical or mechanical about them. What a rip off. And the kid behind the counter was a rude individual who looked all about 10 years old. Let's not forget they charge you 5$ regardless if your part is there or not as an upkeep fee. Like charging outrages prices wasnt enough. The word will be spread that Dalton's pick a part is much cheaper and more friendlier then this rip off store.

Was there last week. Need a screen for a Prius. They tried to charge me for a GPS screen and a door multiswitch (two parts). They guys there really should know about cars if they gonna work the front ringing up part prices. Way over priced for picking your part

Trying to get ahold of the local yard and all I get is an 800 number with a general recording. Contacted customer support and same thing, Go to website. I want to talk to a REAL person about an issue. But instead I have to go back down there to the yard to talk to someone in person.

Until today it’s been 15 years since I’ve been in a junk yard. This was extremely well organized and easy to find stuff. Nothing like the single mom and pop places I went to when much younger. With wheel barrels to carry parts and such. A pretty good experience overall

Very deceitful business practice by charging optional 90 day guarantees on all parts without asking me as the customer if I wanted the additional coverage. When I went back in to get a refund on the optional guarantees I knew nothing about the employee stated that the guarantees are charged unless you strictly tell them up front that you do not want the guarantees. The employee also stated that this happens all the time and it upsets customers as a result. He pointed out signage that is hanging in the middle of the lobby overhead and in front of the computer on the counter. I pointed out to him that the signage on the counter was covered by a glove. Not sure if that was intentional placed their but seemed quite coincidental if not intentional. Unless you take the time to read all the numerous signs hanging overhead or the sign on the counter which is hopefully not covered up then you have no idea about the extra charges. Please train the employees to ask before charging for the guarantees and don't do it deceitfully. This will make for more pleased customers.

LKQ Pick Your Part is a great place to find all parts of any kind for your vehicle. I just went there to find a back door for my minivan with the window intact. I found one, it cost less then having just the window fixed. Bring your tools and get the parts you need for the vehicle you're working on. It's a gold mine for the mechanic at heart.

I hate this junkyard have been too many pull a parts, and enjoy buying parts, but this one is the worst they are more expensive than the rest, and they are dishonest with their 90 day warranty that is automatically applied at checkout and cost extra I was charged over $150 for a warranties on fenders and a hood who needs a warranty on parts like that tried to get a refund for it and they said no we can’t do that I tried to reason with them, and they said look at it from the customer point of view but I am the customer if you buy something that doesn’t fit, you can bring it back if you buy the wrong part that should be on you Pay just because other people are stupid he said there’s signs everywhere about it but it’s really small print also, the environmental fee is based off of your total price, so they are stacking fees also charged more because of the warranties and then tax as well made $500 worth of parts $780 and I don’t even think they would let me return parts for cash refund just Exchange all other pull aparts have warranty included for the price and it’s less than half of what they charge here Express pull and save and cfc are way better I will give them five stars. lkq sucks

Best inventory that I know of in the area. Great informative website with up to date inventory. Rows/sections are not easily identifiable anymore though and can be very confusing/frustrating. Edit: They now label the rows effectively so it is much easier trying to find vehicles locations from website. They implemented a 90 day return policy and are charging for it. Look at their prices list. If you don't need 90 days because you know your part will fit then don't pay for the add on warranty. If you have a core return you have to do it the same day you buy your part.

Anyone who thinks they are getting good service and good prices from these jokers is smoking crack I bought 2 factory wheels for a Ford f150 the wheels $35 each the center caps $6 each $82 I can deal with that but then a $10 core charge each $20 $5 each for tire removal $21 90 day warranty for the wheels $3.62 for the centers even charged a 90 day warranty of $1.50 each for taking the tires off the wheels $9:00 environmental fee $12:81 tax it doubled total $161.33 and wanted $43 for a used brake caliper it would have been $75 after they get done adding new one I bought $64 at O'Reillys I will never buy anything from these idiots again and you have to pay $3 to enter and take the greasy workout part off yourself.Just beware or mabe y'all have money to give away

I used to love this place, until today. They have jacked up their prices to brand new stuff. $20.00 a piece for 250,000 mile lifters? They're out of their freaking minds! They're excuse "would you buy an engine with parts missing?" The cylinder heads were already gone! Hence I was going to buy the lifters. But this is a junkyard not autozonage!

You know, I've been coming here since it first opened. Never had a bad experience for several years and today that changed when I was charged for a complete turbocharger when I only bought half. I'm going to go back tomorrow and return the turbo because the prices for things have went through the roof. These used to cost only $69 or so back in 2016-2019. Now it's $130 something with a warranty but other junkyards are selling for less and even have them pulled for you. What's going on with LKQ? Even removed the 40% off coupons and redeemable credits. Pathetic..

If you like to dumpster dive and hope you get lucky, then you might like this place. When you call you get an automated system that tells you to check their website and can't talk to a real person. It claims if you go online they have a complete list of parts and prices. When you go online it shows the exact cars they have there and in the list of parts deceives you to believe it is actually there and not already taken. Since you have no way to call, you can't tell if the parts you are looking for are there or already taken and that is how they waste your time and money. So unless you have time to kill and feel like gambling on IF they have parts there regardless of if the make and model is right then this is the place for you.

Bought 2 rims for a family members focus. Charged $10 to dismount the tires, $20.40 for a guarantee fee, $20 for cores. When I got to the car ( in the parking lot 5 foot from the front door ) I noticed the guarantee fee and when I returned inside I was told since I walked out that he couldn’t remove it ? But it’s ok for them to sneak it in and not make you aware of a charge you can decline as long as you don’t walk outside? I have a commercial account at the Tampa Florida LKQ and I’ve never had any issues with them and the prices are wayyyy lower than here as well. Glad I won’t have the pleasure of ever returning here.

Very poor run establishment. They have a website that acts like they have these cars exactly like they are, when you get there and explain to them what you need they charge you $3, you go in walk all the way to the vehicle to find it is completely stripped . When you return to the desk to explain that the part you Specifically asked for is gone, they say that this is the "benefits" of a pick a part, and will not give you a refund. Real professional con artists.

The beauty of LKQ is now gone. Go in there and remove parts for dirt cheap prices, not anymore. They have horrible business practice as they put every mom and pop junkyard out of business in the area by their dirt, cheap prices and now jack their prices up to almost new part prices. They trick you into buying extended warranties on everything. It's becoming a scam. I would recommend searching elsewhere for cheap parts. You do all the work to remove things such as engines and charge you the same price as you can. Just go buy one from another junkyard That's already removed. Also, none of their stuff is tested and verified before you remove it. Therefore, it may be bad and you just done all the work removing it for them and they don't give you completely 100% of your money back either. SAVE YOURSELF A HEADACHE AND DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT!!!
