It would be nice if they'd ever get their website running again, it's been inoperative for 3 months now. Get over yourselves and spend some money on getting your failed website fixed, quit being so cheap.

Well I’ll start off with the prices online are wrong. Don’t expect to show up and purchase anything for the prices posted online as they will tell you they are now 2x or even 3x as much. And refuse to honor their pricing online. What’s even worse is they refuse to FIX the price list completely. Even when SHOWING THEM their OWN price list online - They REFUSED to honor it. I checked online pricing, went out. Spent an hour in 90 degree heat pulling a part. Only to get told “too bad. I don’t care what our website says” when I got the part off. And drug it 1/4 a mile to the front checkout. (And let’s be clear. This part was labeled the exact same way as it was on the computer in person. As it was on the price list. So they %100 are trying to pull a bait and switch) I got told word for word. “if you don’t like it. You can come in tomorrow and argue with my boss about it” Then let’s get to the point that they haven’t updated inventory of vehicles for over a year. (Both row52 and their OWN inventory list are pretty-much all stuck in December 2023) so you’ll never actually know what’s there unless you want to call them and wait for 20 minutes to find out. Management has been changed already for FAR TOO LONG for this to still be happening. One thing I’d agree with is that there efforts put forth into bringing new inventory HAVE improved. But again. How the heck are we supposed to know there new inventory… WHEN WE CANT EVEN LOOK IT UP. (Edit*, right after I posted this review. They finally decided to update the inventory, I’m very proud!) This new management was supposed to be a big upgrade. Now 4/5 times I go to this location. I either get scammed on pricing. Argued with. Or find out the car I went for. Isn’t even there anymore. Get it together. This is embarrassing.

Women behind the counter are super rude for no reason. When you call upper management, you’re literally wasting your time. Just wanted to give my money back and only defend them like they would never do that. I got tired of hearing it and hung up. I don’t want my money back. All I wanted was management to not let that type of behavior be acceptable towards paying customer from employees but apparently he knows them better and they would never do that so. There are countless other junkyards/u pulls in the Kansas City area. I would go to literally any other one than this location. It’s a small yard not a lot of rotation. Was a great spot to come check because you never know plus it’s a great place to grab lunch because the fish market across the street is fantastic, but I literally won’t be back over the way they treat people coming to do business and give them their money. I don’t want to be talked to like that by anyone especially by somebody trying to collect my money. I’ll just go somewhere else and suggest you do the same.

Customer Service is ok, yard is very difficult to get around if it rains, import vehicles don’t flip very often, prices are at least good, and they do run sales every now and then. All in all, not a bad yard.

Racist location!!!!! I will never ever do business with this place again, ever!!!! RUDE, OPENLY FRUSTRATED Clerk combs through my open tool bag as if looking for a needle; when right behind me a caucasian couple came through and she did not even ask to look in their tool bag which they did not even offer in the first place. What a disgusting experience!!!!!

The establishment and the employees are great As for the website, that's a different story. Very, very poor website, hard to navigate it. I won't use the website again.

Hadn't been here in years (since before the fire), staff was friendly but the yard could use some serious gravel. Several days after light rain, this place was a mud pit and several lagoons that made rows completely inaccessible. Plenty newer model selection but accessing them unless you wanted to wade through quite a bit of mud and water was out of the question. The posted price list seemed a little higher than the value of a pre-owned part.

This place is so much better than other “you-pull” junkyard places around KC… I think you can guess which ones I am talking about! The workers here are so much nicer and helpful. I was able to come in and get parts off of a car that had been there for 2 months and was NOT already picked clean. Could have just been my luck of the draw, but I was extremely surprised. Parts were very fairly priced! I was very impressed overall and will definitely be back when I need to get some used parts for my Jeep!

Staff were helpful in pointing me in the right direction, very friendly too! Inside of the building was organized, smelled clean and was warm for the 37 degree weather, yard was organized, was easy to find the cars I was looking for, the website showed parts pricing, and inventory list with several pictures for every car! Made my decision to drive 2 hours there well assured, will be returning in the future!! Thank you!

if you're looking for car parts for any kind of car and are handy with a wrench, check out the junk yards for parts first. they have all kinds of makes and models including domestic and imports. they keep the cars grouped together by make. you'll find the cars in varying degrees of condition. it's a junk yard but could also be a gold mine. it's helpful that they keep an online inventory of which car makes and models they have in the lot that's mostly up to date. the website will tell you which row you can find specific cars on and includes pictures of the cars condition when it's put in the lot, however what the car looks like when you get to it may be drastically different. if the parts are removable, they're up for grabs. they have a price for parts list that is also available on the website so you know what you can expect to spend on the parts you're after if you're able to find them. you do have to pay a small fee to enter the yard, i think it's $2.00 per person, but your stamp is good for all day. prices are fair and you can find body parts in good condition if you luck out. i believe they have 3 or maybe 4 locations that you can access on the website. you'll need to bring your own tools for removing parts because they don't have any for public use and someone to help if you're after something big or heavy. they do have some carts available to use in the yard to haul your parts to the checkout. tool bags are subject to search upon entering and leaving.

the heater control switch i needed was in stock, although was in my opinion overpriced and when i mentioned it to the cashier she promptly told me not to buy it and go buy it from the internet. so i did and saved 20 dollars. ive never been treated so disrespectfully at a place of business. would recommend ebay.

Loved it! Who would have thought it was so much fun to go to a salvage yard! Went during one of many 1/2 price weekends and almost finished my wish list. If I had known they had everything I wanted so cheap, I would have went earlier and gotten everything!! The website allows you to search the yard for compatible years for your make and model, the staff is helpful but don't forget yo bring your own tools including metric if its a foreign vehicle because tools are not provided Heavy duty carts are available for the heavier items and two wheeled wheel barrels make it so easy a woman can feel confident to get anything they need in a secure safe environment. Location is a bit hidden but google maps will guide you to the entrance with no issues. Entry fee is 2 dollars per person and sign in is required to enter the yard.

The staff was so helpful and considerate and have me valid directions to the exact year, make and modal in the entire lot that matched my car as well as every carwith a perfectly compatible part. I had to problems finding exactly what I needed with minimal effort and I saved a fortune for sturdy reliable parts to get me through the year. Thank you ladies!! I Will return. You've collected yourself a regular customer.

a bit of High prices!!! Good parts. Lots of them. They might keep them for a while too. They have nice specials. They're not too friendly but they sell good parts. They can be helpful if you ask enough questions. Very knowledgable people. lots of stripped empty haven't been replanted. that's concerning.

At most self service yards in the area, customer service is average to poor on a good day - however at Liberty U pull you have a friendly group of people who are willing to help you find what you need. I have never had a problem getting credit or an exchange on a defective part. Also I like their specials. Great place to shop for parts!

Overall it was pretty great. Found what I needed plus more that wasn't necessary, but definitely welcome. I'll be going back soon. I was a little sad to see that it seemed as though people just destroyed whatever was in their path to get whatever item they needed...a lot of stuff could still have been used. Good price for OEM.
