Took some Ec wire there went to unload and was told I needed to weigh on scales, ok done that and unloaded went back to scale and weighed again. I was told it was on 84 lbs of wire so I got them to weigh it at the shed, when it was weighed on that scale it weighed 286 lbsSo beware when u take material there . They will try to cheat u. Best advice is go elsewhere

We drove from gallatin TX to this place because they were governing more $ for tin. We had 2 culvert .Short iron,and 2 small rusty rolls of barb wire,a burned mattress spring and a little chicken wire. Ok we had a heavy load.The culvert were the majority of the weight. So we go to get our money, t was 14.00$!!!! Our ticket said -100pnds. For wire. We go back up to the lady and asked her where she got a 100 pounds of wire. She says the guy on that big machine that unloaded u said u did. He nor she weighed any wire. Then she has the nerve to say well he's been working here long enough he can just tell!! This is the poorest excuse for a scrap yard I've ever been to! So anyone that wants to get paid rt. For their hard work don't go here!!!

Fast and very nice people as well

My husband applied for a job here and was told they just sent a guy to take a drug test and the guy failed and he told them he would pass it and he didnt .my husband asked for the job application. Then he took a over the counter drug test and showed her he could pass it and then she set up an appointment for him to take a drug test at the urgent care on north st and he passed it and took her the results. He then waited for the owner to show up to interview him and so he called 6 days later to see what is going on and he was told they can't hire him cuz he passed a drug test. What kind of company is this. They only have 2 people working there and need the help . Looks like this place is not a goid place to work for after all.
