Close at 4, pull up at 3:45 and tell me scales close at 3:45….Not like I frequent scrap yards enough to know that.….so ya, basically close at 3:45 and not 4. Would be nice to inform otherwise. Was a stretch for me to get there at that time in the first place. But upon reading many of the other reviews probably best I was turned away.

The worst attitude I've ever dealt with out of a scrap yard if you're not giving them everything for free and at discounted rates, if they can't screw you out of some kind of money in some way it seems like they're not nice to you. Especially the lady they have in charge out back. Such a foul attitude all the time.. honestly I go to this scrap yard alot only because the other ones are so far away from me. But I am over being told one price and getting another.. that lady has basically robbed me and for all I know she is pocketing the money she shorts. When your told a price then u literally get half it makes u suspicious.

Love this place. They were very fair with my son when he brought his items in. Great customer service. They went the extra mile with my son and explained all of different metals and how best to clean them before bringing them in.

I had a few bad experienceshelping friends and once myself. This company doesn't differentiate between the metals it takes in, nor do they pay fair prices.All my aluminum was recorded as dirty despite not having any steel or screws in it. This company consistantly cheats its customers. When dropping off your metal you may frequently be told not to look at any of the metal there. I am suspicious that they knowingly accept stollen items and want to avoid police interaction by keeping people from finding out what they are up to.Should you still decide to take your metal there, know what you have. Type of metal, and weight. I am suspicious that there scales are inaccurate.They do not give you a weight ticket to take to the office.BEFORE YOU UNLOAD ANY METAL YOU MUST FIND OUT WHAT THEY ARE PAYING FOR WHICH METALS! I received less than half of what I expected for a huge pile of copper, brass, Stainless Steel and clean aluminum carport pans. I will never use this company again. I drive to Mims from Edgewater to use ERB recycling because the difference in receipts is worth the gas and the drive time.

The worst customer service ever. No one is ever friendly there. Wouldn’t want to give them anything even if they did pay close to other prices they rip people off there

I scrap my cans and aluminum there and all the people are always very helpful and friendly. Remember to wear covered shoes on your feet or I'll make you put their boots on.

This business cost my family hundreds of dollars due to their negligence. We called them about a car that was in an accident and towed to a local tow yard. They said they would take care of it but rather than calling the place where we told them it was at -- having given them full information -- they called another place where the boss had a relationship with the manager. Because the other place didn't have the car, nothing happened and the car sat for 3 more days over a weekend, racking up the cost to us. On that following Monday, we called again A DOZEN TIMES and although each time the lady said her boss was taking care of it, they never did. And every day, we were being charged more and more. The place that had the car (Edgewater Towing and Recovery) felt so bad for us that they did a wonderful thing - they reduced the cost and said they would take care of it if we sent the title overnight. We owe them a debt of gratitude. But this Park Avenue place really dropped the ball and couldn't care less. AVOID DOING BUSINESS WITH THEM!!!

This place has some of the worst service of any junkyard I've ever been too. On three different occasions they have been short and rude.DO NOT RECOMMEND
