Perhaps one of the absolutely best, and honest businesses in the valley. Employees are very friendly and helpful, everything is reasonably priced, with them even offering to sell waters and sodas to customers—being this is in Arizona, and I'm writing this in July, this is very important. With such a wide variety of vehicles, some modern, some classic, some lightly used, some heavily used, it's possible to find just about anything, and everything for what I was looking for. On eBay, what I needed would've cost me around $700, going to a shop—probably somewhere in the thousands. But I spent only $110 on high quality parts, bolts, screws, and cosmetics. God forbid, if I get into an accident, I might skip a shop, and just get what I can from these guys.

Super friendly staff, clean lot, fun to walk around in but the prices are too high. I guess you pay for the customer service.

Great people to work with are not like a lot of other parts yards where they charge for every nut and bolt too bad they won't be there much longer

Overall, yard is very small compared to other junk yards in the area. Selection was okay but most vehicles had most parts stripped already. Staff was fairly neutral, though not very helpful. Admission fee is 3 dollars or you can leave a five star review to enter for free. This makes it look like a better junk yard than it actually is, especially when you have to leave the review before even seeing the yard. There are better options in the area.

Nice lot with plenty of decent vehicles to pick from. Don’t forget to bring your own tools. They advertise tools for rent, but I didn’t need to. Also be sure to price check with the staff before you take time to pull parts, as they maybe competitively priced locally or online (new). But for the obscure hard to find dealer only part, pick a part wins hands down. The entrance fee is very reasonable, and the staff is helpful and friendly.

Jessy and Roger were awesome. Roger helped me out and went out of his way when he didn't have to. Thanks to them you have a life long customer. And they did it on my birthday!

The parts selection is plentiful, the staff is warm and welcoming, i already felt welcome upon walking in the door and finding a clean open front office with seating but seeing a woman behind the counter eased my nerves as well and made the whole experience so much less intimidating. I was directed to exactly what i needed and checked out in mere MINUTES. I can not rave about pick a part west enough! Thanks you!

I experance was fantastic at this location and service was great. Once I walked in a women welcomed me and ask me what I was looking for, I told her the make and year and within secends she handed me a paper with there lane location number. I found every part I needed and not one item I got was defective and this saved me over $1,600 over wholesale (paid less then $60 for all parts).

Was at the Gilbert location. Then went to the Phoenix location. They told be they don’t take a people past 330pm because the close at 4 pm. I was there at 315 and they closed. I called while sitting in the parking lot asked if I could get a part real quick and they said they shut everything down already. I explained the car was a donation vehicle for a veteran and I need to just grab a part real quick and they refused. Will not come here again.

If I could give them less than one star I would. I returned a core transmission today and didn't realize I had the card I originally bought the transmission with. The website says they give cash back for cores so I went to get it. The woman (if you want to call her that) told me it had to go back on the card I purchased it with even though the website says differently. She asked me if I wanted her to try and see if she could give me cash and then when it wouldn't let her she gave me store credit even though I told her I wanted my money and didn't want store credit. When I realized I did have the card I was told too bad so sad get out or we will call the police. I was told to leave and never come back but I am supposed to accept store credit for a store I cannot return to. On top of that, when I got home, I finished installing the transmission I purchased from them and it is no good and I am having shoulder surgery tomorrow so getting it out and exchanging it is not going to happen so I paid 150.00 for a junk transmission that I cannot even return.

the people are very helpful, great selection of cars, and they tell you upfront wether or not they have the vehicle you’re looking for. The owner should care about the people who work there, as they work hard to provide a good service! would recommend to anybody who wants good parts at a fair price.

Good selection, but, have had the "high price" experience that others described. I'll go here last if I really need a part. They do have a good selection, but, boy do you pay for that selection - Example: hood $150, others $50 - thats a HUGE difference in the price!!! It would be really nice if they had a published price list, as most other pull a part places are doing these days Been screwed over here again - quoted once price, get to the counter and its a different price. Shame that the pick n pull in Chandler closed.

If you have the knowledge to fix your own car and want used parts this is a great place to go. Good selection of domestic and imports. Inventory of cars are updated monthly and can be checked online. Great deals when they have 50% off days.

False advertising. This business claims "Lowest prices, guaranteed, will match any competitor's advertised price." They are BY FAR the most expensive self-service yard around (3 times as expensive in most cases). They will not match any competitor's advertised price. I called the manager out on it, and his response was that his sign out front only says "Low, Low, Prices", not "Lowest Prices". This is false. I contacted headquarters, and all they did was talk around me, trying to avoid my questions. It's bait and switch, really, and I dislike the fact that they don't list prices. I'm always shocked when I get at the register. Just today they charged $44 for a grille from a sedan. Most other yards only charge $12 for the same part. I almost put it back, and in fact, I put back the $40 cassette radio that anywhere else only charges $7 for. One time they charged me something like $40 for an alternator that I could have bought for $17 at another yard. Sometimes there are acts of kindness, but overall, I feel that the prices are too high, and the attitude of the employees often seems like they are trying to squeeze every last penny out of me. I often avoid this yard, but every now and then I come back to give it another chance, and always regret it.

Pricing has become intolerable. Everything is priced roughly three times higher than neighboring yards. I would only go here as a last resort. The prices would be excusable if service was any better than the competition, but it's not. These guys will also nickel and dime you with "misc" fees for every stupid little item that most other yards wouldn't even bother charging you for.

The website gives the prices of different parts. I needed a tail light lens. The website said $5. When i checked out the lady said it was over $22! When I mentioned the price in the website she said well i can take the insurance off and it will be $19. WTF?! I don't suggest going there.

I have now had two bad experiences at this yard. First and foremost, there is no published price list, which should have sent up warning flags but didn’t. Essentially what happens is you pull the part and then they decide what to charge you, based on how much they think you will pay. If you look like you are from the burbs,or something other than a bum prepare to pay extra. The first incident occurred on 9/1/2013. I purchased some transmission parts. When I got to the counter, the employee looked over what I had and told me my bill was $100. That seemed a little steep considering I only had 3 master cylinders and a transmission line. I questioned what everything cost and he explained that the master cylinders were $30 a piece and the trans line was was $5. I should have put the brakes on right there but I didn’t. Looking at the receipt when I got home, I noticed that the master cylinders were only $20 a piece and that the employee had tacked on a $20 Misc Trans charge for a non-existent part. Obviously as a way to up-charge me because he thought I’d pay it. The second incident was on 9/4/2013. I returned to the yard against my better judgment, but this time I had a plan. I would call from the yard once I had located my parts and request a quote. I pulled one brake booster and one pedal cluster. I then called the desk and they quoted me $35 for the booster and $25 for the pedal cluster. No problem, I took my parts up to the counter where the same employee from the 9/1/2013 incident asked me suspiciously if I had gotten a quote. I said yes and told him what I had been quoted. The employee stated that the price on the pedal cluster must have been a mistake because they are $65 not $25. Now it had taken me an hour of work in 100+ degree temperatures to pull that cluster so for better or worse I wasn’t leaving without it. When I questioned the change in price, the employee huffed and puffed and told me he would sell it to me for $45, $20 more than what I was originally quoted. Needless to say, I will never return to this yard and I recommend that other do the same. The U-Pull and Pay down the road has a published price list and no games, I will be going there from now on.

Use to be a dependable yard. Now they don't answer their phones and close early. Turned away at 420 and I only needed to view the inventory for picking Sunday or if here Monday because they aren't open Sundays. They are listed as open till 5 on the website. BS

I needed a couple of parts for my Toyota Camry and was able to find everything I needed. The guy at the front Raymond was more then helpful. The price was also great compared to what the dealership wanted to charge me.

This is by far the cheapest place to get used parts for a vehicle. Robbie was very helpful when I was there this weekend. Very reasonably priced, not hard to find the parts, but you must pull them yourself. I definitely recommend this place if you want to save money on parts. A thank you goes out to Robbie for all of his help.

when I went to the junkyard on Monday with my husband and I waiting in the front for him for about like 45 min and I could help but notice that it was pretty busy because there was one person ( that skinny girl with the glasses) working and doing everything including answering phone and dealing with rude customers but still kept a good attitude with everything, while that other big black dude wasn't trying to do anything but just be talking on his earpods and going in and out while that skinny girl was left with no help but she never even complain, she just kept doing her job , that guy needs to get cut or actually start doing his job cuz he could of at least help her out especially when its was busy.

Hours online are incorrect. When asked "the office is open for questions until 5 not the yard" Yet refused to let me ask a question. Or pay to walk I'm and out of the yard to just see if the bu per I needed was on the car they had. Wasted a trip across the valley because they can't bother to list their actual hours

Staff was OK but make sure you check your receipt. I said no warranty on a $15.00 gauge cluster and they tacked a $7.79 90 day warranty charge on it. Who in their right mind would pay almost 50% on a $15.00 dollar part anyway. Watch the core charges. They charged $1.00 core on a plastic windshield washer reservoir. Really???? Go somewhere else and avoid this lot.

I use to go to pick-a-part a lot. They use to have half of Tuesday and Thursday and really did have the lowest prices. Now, though, they seem to be the highest priced of any of the yards. They even took down their price lists...And I agree with others, they seem to make up the prices when you get there. They should change their motto of having the lowest prices...its very unfortunate too since they normally have the best selection. Sorry pick-a-part, I probably wont be coming back to you unless as a last resort.
