If I could offer zero stars, I would. We were contracted for weekly residential service for which we pay ahead of time. There have been several times when pick ups did not take place as scheduled. Last week and this week, our scheduled pick up did not take place. I called the office today and spoke with the manager, Jamie. She had no reason why our pick up did not take place. She surmised that the driver “may have been on vacation.” She said they would send a driver to pick up today, but we now have a backup of garbage due to the holiday and the missed pickup. When I asked if we could receive a credit for the service that was paid for and not received last week I was told that they would not offer a refund and that it was our fault for not calling them to tell them that the scheduled and paid for service had not been completed. I have canceled our contact with this company as they are unreliable and unprofessional.

I put my garbage on the curb on Sunday. They didn't take my garbage on Monday. Called on Tuesday, they said they didn't believe me and won't come to pickup my garbage. Terrible service. They basically said "the driver said he picked it up". Well I'm staring at it right now, and they are refusing to do anything about it. And I live right down the road from their office. We've been using Prairieland Disposal for over 7 years now and have always been extremely pleased with their services. I just almost accidentally read the reviews and was honestly quite baffled by them. Not saying they aren't accurate, but maybe we are just lucky with whoever collects our trash. They are absolutely reliable, always on time, they leave the garbage cans exactly in the same position as to where I left them for pick-up, they have picked up extra big boxes that wouldn't fit in the garbage can without any problems, and our prices haven't gone up in years. We get email notifications if the pick-up day changes or when a payment gets declined (say if credit card expired). Not getting paid for writing any of this, it's just our honest experience with this company.
