We needed to get some stuff cleaned out of our garage because we were moving we called the republic waste services of grants pass and the schedule for Christmas and through the new year was no interuption in services through the new year, so we get there and people are being turned around and told no that are closed it was 3:00 pm and close was at 4:30 they told us to leave and we tried to explain we have to have everythi g out of storage tonight we need to dump this stuff and he said we were wrong that it didn't say they were open , the problem is that this is not the first time this has happened and so it gets very aggravating, and we are not the only ones it happens too peoe depend on places like this to make a living , decide on weather or not they will be starting on other jobs depending on them to be open when they say, I understand that it is new years and that is exactly why we called , so what is the problem why are so many people supposedly misinformed but yet there is someone there to turn everyone around , I DONT LIKE BEING LIED TOO BY THE PEOPLE THAT CLAIM TO HAVE INTEGRITY ON THE WEBSITE AND SOMEONE OWES ALOT OF PEOPLE AN APOLOGY and I'd Say a discount for the time that they wasted of ours I can assure. You I wouldn't be able to ever dump my trash if I decided that even though it said a certain amount was owed I just decided it was different , so what about my time the three times this has happened , absolute disgrace as a businessService: Junk removal

Thanks you to you guys for quieting your trucks down! My dumpster gets picked up at 6 in the morning. I can tell that the trucks brakes are quieter and that the drivers are no longer slamming the dumpster down waking up the whole neighborhood. We all as a community appreciate it!

I rented a 20ft dumpster for a week and it was so much easier than making 10 trips to the dump. You don’t have to unload all the junk and not having to climb in and out of a truck all day makes it worth the $$!! It was so easy to set up and Laura at the head office is the sweetest girl and made the experience of renting a dumpster enjoyable, now that’s good customer service 😊 The cost of keeping the dumpster an extra day is under $10 so if it rains you have time to extend your rental and not stress. This is the 2nd time I’ve rented from Republic and everyone has been very nice and easy to work with I highly recommend them ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️Services: House & garage cleanouts, Junk removal

My scheduled trash pickup day was 8/5. Pickup time was normal, but my trash can was taken (or dropped into the bin of the truck) when I went out to bring it in. I called Republic a few hours later (to give them time to return it) and was told by the person I talked to that my bin, or a replacement bin would be dropped off that evening or at the latest the next day. She also mentioned that no one reported anything about my bin getting picked up or damaged.....shocking! Well, of course there wasn't a replacement bin that day or the next by 4PM, in which I called again, was confirmed that I had called the previous day, but was told that the soonest a replacement would be there was on 8/12, a week later! I asked "what am I supposed to do with my trash in the mean time" and was told to hold onto it until my replacement arrived, A WEEK LATER!I just have to ask Republic Services, after taking my trash can with out any notice, and after ME CALLING THEM to find out what to do and then being told to JUST HOLD ONTO MY TRASH until a replacement shows up A WEEK LATER........................The "customer service" representative just kept repeating that it was the "best" she could do. IS THIS ACCEPTABLE?????!!!You are called Republic "Services". I've never missed a payment, dealt with the recyclables fiasco, deal with the miniature trash bin provided, and pay the increases that you demand. On Friday July 3rd one of your employees really went the second mile...I had forgotten to put my garbage out the night before. When he came by to pick up and saw that my can was not out he honked the horn and alerted me that he was there. I ran out to grab my can and he had gotten out of his truck walked down the driveway and offered to take it to the road for me! Wow...such kindness and care. This employee really went above and beyond and confirmed that there IS good in this world. Thank you for your service.

We couldn’t put our cans out last night because of the high winds and our trash pickup is usually about 12:15pm so I thought we would put our trash out in the am. The trash guy shows up at 5:45am so I called to see if they were coming back. They are charging me $5.45 for a pickup! They also charged for the trash can lid being open 4 inches. Customer service was sweet but they are money hungry and I’m disgusted!!

They are always helpful when I have questions about my service. They know what they are talking about and if they are not sure, they find out from someone who does. They are an awesome company and I am glad to have them pick up trash and recycling. (Also, the size of their recycling is huge. I recycle a lot, so it is perfect.) They also allow you to pay over the phone with a real person and don't charge you a fee to pay this way!!

Merlin transfer station: every experience has been terrible. They are unkind, don't have an idea what customer service is, and they are just plain rude most every time. Middle aged blonde woman working at 3 pm on 6/14/2017- very rude about their brand new policies. Wouldn't accept my load because of two pieces of drywall and wouldn't​ take the time to confirm that my residence was built after 1980. Also was advertising for a testing agency they must have a deal with. Sure, a lot of the info was her job and what she was forced to do, but treating a customer in a short and curt manner implying I'm an idiot for not knowing a new policy, not cool.

Terrible company!They switch up pick up days for yard waste without letting us or neighbors know.They leave notes on recycling bin stating they we did not place recyclables material in the container when in fact we did and in fact make sure it is washed and clean at that.They have picked up our trash receptacle in the past and left us with nothing, then lied about it and dropped it back off the next day.I wish Grants Pass would give us a choice like the community we lived in before instead of this monopoly
