They do a terrible job in Summit County. Just this week they skipped our entire neighborhood. Called customer service and they were oblivious that an entire neighborhood was missed. Poor service, unprofessional, full of excuses. Summit county please dump these clowns.

We used Republic Services for years. When it was time to renew our contract, I had asked for MONTHS to talk with someone as I had questions on the contract (not being the initial one to set up our service with them). When I finally had a meeting scheduled, they didn't answer my call. We terminated services with Republic and were charged a $110 removal fee, when our contract states it was only $50. When trying to dispute this and finally getting someone on the phone, they were very rude and disrespectful to my team, ultimately hanging up on my team. It's not about the money, it's about the principle.Republic's customer service number cannot tell you who your account rep is, they cannot transfer you to anyone local for help, they have no idea what's going on. It's a complete joke.We've switched to Ace and are MUCH happier.Don't use Republic Services, you'll be sorry you did.Service: Yard debris removal

I have repeatedly told the billing department _not_ to contact me by phone due to their calls endanger the life and safety of the general public.I am a professional driver, and cannot take personal calls while driving!I’m now concerned that they must allow their drivers to take personal calls on their cell phones, as they seem to believe that calling _known_ professional drivers is acceptable!I’m considering a lawsuit due to their calls posing a risk to life & limb!

DANGEROUS!!!Recycling truck flew into our one way de sac today and was on his phone ( holding it in his right hand while steering with Only his left! ).He was on the phone while backing up narrow street where small young children and dogs live.Slamming down cans.It was like he thought it was his go cart.Scares me that he has no concerns about the gigantic vehicle is driving around a no outlet road.

This company is the worst garbage collection company I have ever encountered. Their trucks break down at least once a month and they don't pick the garbage on my street at least once a month and I have to call and have them come back out.They come early and if your garbage can is not out by 7:00 am they will not pick it up, and then they will come after 5 pm the next week. There is never any consistency.They also have horrible billing practices and do not communicate well at all. They gouge their customers and I do not believe they are honest.IF YOU HAVE A CHOICE, DO NOT CHOOSE THIS COMPANY.
