    Paid $800 for a motor that was supposed to have 140k miles got it in truck couple months later took me awhile because I am a Teenager in school and motor had 0 oil pressure I put a new oil pump and motor still had lower oil pressure. I should have known because guy at counter said they were pulling motor and that’s why we had to wait a little while but the guy that pulled it and loaded it in the truck said it had been out for awhile. Terrible experience scammy place would not recommend.

    LONG REVIEW I was scammed by 2 of the workers..bought a motor paid for it had someone to put it in but the guy Rod at the counter told me that Matt their on site mechanic could fix it..me trusting the guys allowed them to come pick up my car to repair..didn't know that this was a side job..thinking ROCKDALE is handling my car..come to find out Matt the mech took my car to his house to work on without the proper equipment..told me I have to pay to have the computer reset..then he said I didn't cause it was the transmission..I did t understand that cause nothing was wrong with my transmission..so I sent him money to purchase a transmission...Matt called and said my car was ready...I went to pick up my car upon walking. To my car he starts to explain that I need to take it to the dealer and get it reprogrammed..I said wasent you to do that when u fixed my car he said..I dint have that machine..wow..then he said it cost $280..I get in my car to check it...it don't want to pull off..then I put it in reverse..it made aloud CLICK popped in reverse..all lights on dash it suppose to be a engine with 86,000 miles..but all like still saying g same mileage.. so I went back and asked Matt to come ride with me..he got in..I posted out these things to him ..he just looked..I asked Did u even drive my car..he responded sayin...no not really..WOW...so is this the business ROCKDSLE do..I trusted them..with parts and labor..even when I knew nothing was wrong with my transmission..I still purchase one..paying for the service is NO PROBLEM..but paying for a car that more damage then when it came I. Is crazy...can I add this was 10/24/24.....today date is 12/2/24..a month and a few days...I had to pay to get to and from work..now remind you this was suppose to be a 2 to 3 day job..just disappointed and had to trust the people u should be able to trust..just need now to speak with someone to see how and what I need to do to resolve this before goin to pressing charges...don't want to ..im just a good person trying do the right..wish we all would..so disappointed..now the Mech is threating to put a lien on my car..I just want my car fixed then I pay..we move on..but if not..I guess I'll have to go to the courthouse..#disappointed..#Matt..#Rod..#Rockdale

    Had an unfortunate experience when an intoxicated pedestrian deliberately smashed my windshield with a liquor bottle. Called around to different salvage yards and stumbled upon Rockdale. So happy I did. The customer service team took great care of me, and even though my vehicle is newer, they were able to beat dealership and aftermarket prices. Very pleased. Thanks guys!!

    I dont advise anyone to order parts from these guys, we have ordered two transmissions that went bad within a couple of weeks and they also sent me a motor that was locked up, they have horrible business practices they carry themselves like scammers

    Excellent customer service!! Got there in the middle of lunch, Aaron literally covered his food to go check on a fender for us. Highly recommend this company, everyone was so polite and courteous.

They even provided me with a video of it running so it helped with my decision to buy from them, definitely a step above.     Worst customer service ever. Guys sold me the wrong engine and didn’t even consider exchanging it for the correct one nor did they refund me my money. Then upon leaving, the cowardly Hispanic guy with the army shirt goes to his car to grab his gun because I guess he’s too scared to fight like a real man. But anyways I wouldnt recommend doing business with these scammers.

    Horrible service - We were told that we would have part delivered. They never showed and lied about it - heard a guy in the back say "Tell them the truck broke down, we will deliver tomorrow" never showed, when called they said the part was broken.

    Terrible customer service. I called in prior to coming to the location and was told that the transmission I was looking for was already pulled and sitting on the shelf. When I got their they sent an employee to go grab the part. It took 1hr for them to bring the part up to clean it before I was told I could check it out. Once I started looking at it I noticed part of the cv axle was still attached. I asked the service rep (Lee) could I use a pry bar to pop cv out so I can check the shaft. Since reason client is replacing transmission is due to output shaft bearing having play. He stated that the guys with the tools went on lunch. I then stated I've been waiting for over an 1hr now. His response was you can take your business elsewhere. So I DID. I Highly recommend you find your parts somewhere, where they value there customers.

    I place my order through one of the associates online. I was quoted 304 motor with $100 core charge after I paid for it replace the motor and took the quarterback they told me that the motor was 350 with a $50 core charge. The manager refused to make good on the promise that his associate made even though I had proof of the agreement as well as a copy of the invoice. Then had the audacity to tell me that if I came back he would take care of me rather than making good on what I had already agreed on with his employee. And all of this was after the delivery wasn't put on the truck and then was wrong motor and then traveling an hour-and-a-half both ways to drop the motor off.

    As soon as I walked in the office I knew I came to the right place. It was kept nice an clean and the man at the counter named Mike was just awsome. Mike was very quick with what I needed and I was in and out of there in less than 15 minutes. My experience would be more then 5 stars due to the outstanding customer service I received.

    The worst customer service I ever received. Communication was horrible didn't even want to look at me while talking also $100 dollars a must at the door for wet car mats I really felt racially targeted!!

    I called and was told that they had an A/C Compressor for my 05 Dodge Van. Got there, paid for the part and was told it would be ready the next day. This was on a Thursday. Decided to wait until Saturday. Called on Sat. and kept getting put on hold. Then when someone finally answered was told it would be Monday. Long story short, they keep putting me on hold that Mon. and Tues. On Wednesday I just went back to the place and they said the part wasn't any good. I guess the good part was, they did refund me my money. NEVER GOING BACK. You want quality service, GO TO SOUTHERN AUTO!!!!!

    🚨🚨🚨🚨⚠️⚠️⚠️I went in from driving over 40 miles to get a tire for my 2004 Buick Lasabre. I was recommended to come here from Columbia Used Auto Parts because they checked the system and it stated that they had four in stock. Upon arriving I was greeted by an older Asian guy and when asked did they have the tire he said that there was no one there to pull the part, so I asked if I could pull it myself and the man yelled at the top of his lungs “No!, there is no puller!” I then told him I was told by Columbia used auto parts that the part was there and he yelled “I don’t have a puller!” Which made me feel unwelcome and unwanted there. He also stated we’re not affiliated with them! And you should’ve called first But how would they be able to pull up your inventory if there is no affiliation 🤷🏾‍♂️ ⚠️ 🚨⚠️⚠️Do not come here unless you want rude lackluster customer service. Try S&W for top tier professionalism and there was a awful pet smell in the building.

    If you ever call to get a price make sure you get the name of the person who you spoke with and tell them to save your quote they change the prices to a higher price. That’s not good business they changed the price on me each time I called I won’t be buying parts from here.

    Great customer service. I needed an alternator for my ridgeline. Rockdale Auto had an alternator but it was still in a savage vehicle and plus it was raining bad. They worked through the rain to get the alternator off the savage vehicle for me. They also provided updates while I was waiting. The Best Customer Service!!! I will come back for more parts in the future!!! Thanks Rockdale Auto Parts!!!!

    If I could give these guys 0 stars I would. I bought a transmission from them for 350 dollars. It turned out to be the wrong part. I took it back and they refuse to issue a refund or credit. The owner Omar, essentially has stolen my money and has the transmission to boot. He is incredibly rude and hard to get ahold of. DO NOT BUY PARTS HERE!!

    If you're looking for any part, come here. If they don't have it, ask them to find it for you. They have EARNED me as a lifetime customer. This place found a specific hard to find engine for me in a few days and at a price that no one else could even match, they made sure the engine was in great shape and worked right. Don't let the silly signs in the lobby scare you off, Customer service here was 5 stars, they made sure I was completely satisfied with my purchase before they let me walk out the door. Raja and Omar are really cool guys and are absolutely hilarious. This isn't like the typical scrap yard where you have to deal with sketchy unprofessionals, this place is extremely professional. After seeing the work they do and dealing with these guys I wouldn't hesitate to send anyone here and it's worth the drive if you're coming from a long way off.

    I would give zero stars, but that option is not available. I bought a transmission with a 30 day warranty, it made it three days and quit pulling. They said I busted the pump. I took it to a transmission shop had it pulled out the pump was not busted, The transmission was just completely worn out. The transmission was damaged prior to my purchase. I disputed with my credit card company, and they told my credit card company that it was my fault. The transmission was wore out because It had so many miles on it. If you buy from here, just a warning. They do not stand behind the warranty! So I’m out over $2000 for nothing. They will get very ugly with you on the phone, and will not respond back. Had to buy a rebuilt unit at 2500 so now I’m out 4500. Thanks Rockdale Auto Salvage, what a great business!

    I purchased a AC compressor for my 07 benz for $150. Paid a day in advance so they could pull the part. Went to pick it up the next day and i had to wait another 1hr. On top of that the pulley was broken off the compressor but he claimed it was still good. So in need of a compressor with this ga heat I figured I would take the pulley I had and just swap it out..Long story short the compressor was bad anyway.. selling bad parts is one thing but to have the owner lie to your face is another.

    The warranty period is 3 months while everyone else is 6 months. i recommend everyone to shop else where if u want 6 months warranty.

    They actually close at 1 on saturdays...I called at 11:30 and they said they had my part and that they closed at 1...arrived at 12:30 and was told they couldn’t pull my part until Monday! Also they offer a $5 discount for good reviews on google yelp! Be aware of faulty reviews for a discount! This place is a dump! AVOID!
