Called to check for a 2003 Chevy Avalanche Proportioning Valve, hadn't had any luck from other yards, GM was $200+. Owner called me back within a few minutes, asked me for a photo, and then when I sent it called me immediately and said he had it! Super nice fella, absolutely blew me out of the water that he had it, and the price was great! Really great end to trying to get this thing up and running, just did new lines and calipers thinking they had rusted, just to find out it was the proportioning valve that had failed, but now I can keep trying to make it nice again!

God bless this man we called and needed help with a water pump he came out, free of charge and even brought us a water pump and helped take the old off and put the new on for completely free of charge. Not only did we get a running car but he changed my life when I was in desperate need. This was more than a moment of kindness, this was an act of a true honest man, a wonderful friend that can be trusted to help not with only cars but as a friend in need. He's an excellent mechanic as well!

Through a unique set of circumstances, one of our cars ended up in Grand Rapids and I needed to have it towed and salvaged (long story). I googled "auto salvage" and Walters Auto Salvage popped up first - and I am really glad they did! I called and spoke directly with Pat Walters the owner who was helpful, honest, and a God-send. Pat and his team located the car, towed it, and then worked out a salvage agreement with me long distance. Having never met him, I sent Pat a sales contract, key, and signed title. He sent me back the signed sales contract and the sale amount we agreed to. He and his team were honest, straightforward, and terrific to deal with. I give them my highest recommendation.
