I ordered garbage bins in December of 2021 it is now end of February 2022 and i still have no bins. When i called in Jan i was promised bins by the 31 and told there was no longer a shortage. Still no bins delivered on that date. I was also promised a refund by a manager that was never given and still yet to be given. Attitude from phone reps is appalling! No one takes ownership of the errors and makes delivery a priority. I am paying for a service i don’t have and extremely dissatisfied.Service: House & garage cleanouts

All around great experience setting up our new account with Waste Management. The individuals I talked with on the phone knew the meaning of customer service, which is unfortunately hard to find these days. On our first pick up day everything went on without a hitch. First month of paid service we were not provided bins due to a shortage (them taking on another area they obviously did not have the ability to cover) so we had built up quite the garbage/recycle at our new home. Our first week of garbage/recycle pickup resulted in garbage and cans from our bins somehow getting spilled all over the road which was not cleaned up. We've still been finding things since that pickup.. The last 7 months they have missed picking up garbage 6 times, and recycle 8 times even though we put it out the night before pickup. When we called they told us the driver marked each of these as being picked up when they were not. Recently they canceled our service after we had previously setup auto-pay, and had no reason as to why that would have been removed. We are being charged $5 an extra bag, and a resume service charge. The only notice I received was a voicemail several days ago from an unknown number that mentioned there was an issue with the account, and when I reached out they had already canceled the service. I truly wish there was another service in the area, as we have had nothing but bad experiences with Waste Management since moving to Marysville. WM took over for Republic Services in Lake Stevens and it has not been an upgrade. The service rates have increased, the bins have gotten smaller, the recycling is picked up less frequently, and I continue to have issues with them not taking recycling even on the days they schedule. Have repeatedly reported this and have only been helps once.Then I get an email asking for feedback and asking for a Google review... Sure am happy to write one.The real bummer is that this will not change because they have no competition and cannot be terminated by the customer.Never thought I would want to see Republic Services back, they were not great either, but at least they were reliable.Oh and WM, don't bother with the canned response to this. Waste management has terrible service on Tuesday 11/23 they took my personal can. I confronted the drive and he tried to tell me my can was over 60 lbs closer to 75. I told them this is not possible since I am on dialysis and have a bad heart. I can't carry a 50 lb box on dog food through the front door I need to corner walk it. There is NO WAY I could drag a 75 lb can out of my garage, down the driveway and to the curb. To give them some credit they did credit my account the cost of the can. However they will not get me one to use for over a week. They say it will be here on 11/30.

They havent been picking up my recycling that I have been paying for. The website says they have, and they have a video showing that they did not pick it up, but marked it as picked up. When I called, they said they will send out another truck, I asked if I could send more than a can full because I am so behind since no pickups, and they said no. Very disappointed. I have used the service at my current house and at my previous house for many years. They have always been prompt courteous and responsive. There has never been a problem with my weekly garbage pick up and I once rented a large container for general junk removal after a renter left a mess behind, it was delivered promptly and picked up promptly. Our society places high value on entertainment such as those who are performing sports or acting but tends to complain a lot about those who are doing the essential work that keeps our world running smoothly. Update: did finally get a yard waste bin delivered, almost a month later. Now it's winter time, and not as needed. My bill jumped from $80 to $132. I was told this is because of the yard waste bin and the prorated charges for the bin last billing cycle that wasn't charged. 50% increase in my bill for the yard waste bin. I asked about pausing my yard bin service during the winter - In order to do that they are required to take the bin back - so they can then charge you $25 delivery fee when you want it back. Where did the customer service go again?How does one report a company to the BBB? Waste Management took my large green yard waste bin without me asking. Now, after 3 phone calls and multiple emails; each time being told it will be fixed - I still do not have my bin. It's been almost a month! How is a company this large this inept?

I use them for my Residence garbage pick up and they have been flawless. They allow me a bi monthly pickup for a reduced cost as I don't generate much waste!

Waste Management has a big problem in consistency, when it comes to garbage and recycling pickup during winter months. Most generally, one driver picks up recycling and another driver picks up garbage. During inclement weather, one driver will pickup and the other won’t because they feel the roads are too bad. Doesn’t make sense that one can make it out and the other one can’t. I’m old and I manage to get around in inclement weather. MAN UP!!!Service: House & garage cleanouts
