Gets 3 stars for still existing and encapsulating a lot of railroad and intermodal rail history. A friend took me on a long walk along this industrial stretch of the Brooklyn waterfront and this yard and the remnants of one a little north reminded me of what I have seen in photos of the many long gone yards along the Hudson shoreline of Manhattan.

This place is wonderful for railfanning it is because many railcars pass through here daily to and go on car floats to and from here to New Jersey Greenville Yard. Also, that this place has 2 transfer bridges to transfer cars on and off car floats daily.
