February 2026 MOST RECENT review. If you live in Union County or Waxhaw, don't even bother coming here. They made a brand new change in late 2025. Mecklenburg county can use this place for free. Union County or Waxhaw have to pay to get in. No joke. I will only be back when I need to throw away leaves. But other than that, it was a pleasure helping me recycle A LOT of glass bottles and aluminum cans. No more. I will just throw them away for free instead. So greedy! Charging Union County and/or Waxhaw 10 dollars+ just to get in. What is this? Some kind of private club spot?

Visited Foxhole to drop off recyclable items today. The woman working at appliance drop off very pleasant. I experienced two very helpful and pleasant men workers, one called for assistance and the other who came to help jump start my car, which had a dead battery. I appreciate their help and it saved a family member coming out early morning and cold to jump start my car. Thank you!!
