ThriftNYC has a nice setup and some good finds, but let’s be honest, the whole point of thrifting is affordability and the thrill of the hunt. When most of these items are donated and secondhand, there’s no reason I should be seeing $20 price tags. It completely takes away from the thrifting experience. At that point, you’re not really a thrift store, you’re a vintage boutique with extra steps. If that’s what you want to be, cool, but don’t misdirect people by calling it “thrifting.” Cuz this ain’t it
