Once you're inside the arena it's pretty great. Very wide aisles on the floors where concessions are. Even for those who need it, all of the bathroom stalls are wheelchair accessible. Also plenty of women's bathrooms. The seating - wide open no beams in the way etc. concessions crazy expensive but that's kind of expected - 2 m&mS and two waters $32. But leaving you should do rideshare or get picked up at least two blocks from the turnpike on the south side. Do not drive here and Park. 1. parking is expensive 2. it could take a half hour or more to get out. 3. it's illegal to park on the local neighborhood streets. It's best to take the bus or the train or rideshare. It drops you off at the parking lot closest to exit 26 d at the northbound Cross Island it's like a 5-minute walk to the entrance lines.

The most intimate but big arena I've been to! A great view of the hockey. Islanders won so an extra star for that! The last time I managed to get to an Islanders game was at the Barclays Centre in 2018 against the very same team and this arena (whilst a 45 min LIRR from Penn Station) is so much better. Great for the locals and better than MSG ? Oh and it was Star Wars night and they went all out! ?

Great arena home to the New York Islanders. First is the parking situation which was not thought out too well. The cheap lots are on the other side of the horse track so you can either walk or take a shuttle. The shuttle isnt bad and they run constantly. You can pay more and park on the lots that are adjacent to the arena or in the garage. Entry is quick with a ton of security lines. The concourses are wide so they don't get too jammed up. There are plenty of bathrooms which is a must in a new arena. Any Islanders fan can tell you borrow stories of having to wait on the longest bathroom lines at the barn. The arena has great sight lines so ther are no bad seats. They have varied a ton of varied concessions from normal arena food to sushi and beyond. The outdoor patio bar is nice to get some air and grab a beer. There is usually a DJ out there as well. It's a great fan experience that shouldnt be missed
