First impressions was great! Place was clean and professionally organized. I was greeted by George. A very friendly and helpful individual. He got me signed up (it was my 1st time there), loaded my cans in the cart and got them weighed. He gave me my receipt and then I walked into the office to get my cash. The gentle in the office was equally helpful and polite! All in all, it was about 10 mins of my time. A very efficient operation! I'll be back!

I had went in with half a pickup load. I ended up being their for an hour and half. First the guy wanted all the aluminum first. Which, was clear at the bottom with other stuff stacked on top of it. He started pulling stuff out of my truck and scratching my paint. I already was sorting and putting stuff on the tailgate. I told him 3 times, stay out of my truck. Go get a bin. He finally got a bin and ran it right into the driver's side of my pickup. Then I had a bunch of extruded aluminum. I got informed because it bends, they will put it with the sheet metal. Which is NOT accurate. Extruded aluminum is anything ran through a die. And it pays more. I didn't just got screwed, the owner in the long run is getting screwed for the laborers not sorting metals correctly. They separated the copper and aluminum, 3 different ways. Ahh we don't pay that much for this. After they were done they'll threw it all in the same bin. I had to yell at the guy running the scale. He constantly didn't have a roll of wire all the way on the scale. I got a super tiny receipt. I can't even read. I've been to other united metals before. I've had a issue with this same location nearly 10 yrs ago! Then, they wanted to give me tin price for a bunch of white brass and electric motors. I went to the Boise United Metals and got nearly 200 for the stuff. I will not be doing business at this location again.

Dropped off some scrape metal and copper tubing. The reciet was printed so tiny you could not read it. Had to go back in because they did not pay me for the #1 copper. The manager was acting shady like this is the norm to rip people off. Won't return. Will take my copper scrap else ware. Beware of this place.
