Under Georgia Code (40-1-1 — 40-16-8) individuals who's vehicles who were impounded have 30 days to retrieve their property in the vehicle and have a RIGHT to those belongings. My fiances car was wrongfully impounded from a home depot parking lot while she was shopping, the wreckers mistook the car for a similar one the property called in to have towed as abandoned. Putting aside the fact that this tow company was sick minded enough not to just let her have the car back for free on e she presented proof of this error on THEIR part, all she wanted to do was get her blood pressure medications and her deceased fathers ashes out of the car. She presented proof of ownership as required by state law and was denied the right to get her belongings. In 2 very distinct ways , this place broke the law not to mention the level of sheer apathy it takes for someone to be so horribly without any compassion and did so in conversational tones of arrogance as thought they enjoyed denying this to her. We've reported them to the Governors office: consumer affairs division . If you've had similar problems with these people, report them to the Governors office not just the BBB.

Brown & Brown was called to tow my car by the Dunwoody police. I was asked how long it would take for my insurance tow truck to show up, i replied that the ETA was 11\2 hours. The Dunwoody office stated that would be too long and that he could get me a Tow truck in about 10 to 15 mins for around $150 and that the tow truck company would take the car to my house. I accepted his offer and canceled my insurance tow truck . About and hour later a Brown & Brown driver showed up, he refused to take the car to my house which was only about 15 to 20 mile away. I showed up less than 16 hours after my car was towed and was instructed that the charge would be $388.00 cash only. I gave them $400.00 and the person behind the counter stated that they do not provide change. Not only was this price extremely higher than expected but the customer service was very rude. They did not want to release my car unless I provided them an updated insurance card, registration and ID. They did require proof of insurance when they towed it, why should I need it when I am getting it towed to the repair shop? I do not recommend this company at all they are ripping people off. They really do not deserve any stars.

0 out of 10. Would not recommend. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing due to poor customer service. The front desk staff member was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional from the moment I walked in. Instead of feeling welcomed as a customer, I felt uncomfortable and disrespected. Customer service sets the tone for any business, and this interaction completely ruined the experience for me. I hope management takes time to properly train staff on professionalism and respectful communication because customers deserve better.
