Bridget is AMAZING. Small town towing helped me when I had a car incident a year ago, my car had to stay in their lot as I worked out a hit and run with my 2016 BMW. I’ve been a college student resident at the Flats at West Village for three years and I continue to use their services beyond towing in the residential building when people always park in my resident spot (that is clearly marked). A reputable, kind hearted ownership that is fair is the perfect way to describe this company

Our experience was extremely negative with Small Town Towing. Our son attends UVA and was in a rear end collision. Thankfully, no one was injured. Living 5 hours away, we drove up to see the car. An employee told us that our car was "totaled" and the bill is 700 dollars, but then adds that we can give them $350 plus the title and they'll call it even. We contacted our insurance company and towing was covered. We informed them that our insurance will pay the bill. We planned to retrieve our car in 2 days and took off work. The day before we contacted Small Town Towing several times. By end of the day, they had not gotten paid and would not release our car. So, we waited another day. On Friday, Small Town Towing called us stating they had spoken with our insurance company and they will not cover the tow bill. In addition, they are charging us 85 dollars/day for storage. We immediately contact our insurance agent which stated they had not heard from the towing company. But reiterated they would pay it if they receive the bill. Our agent gave us specific instructions to give the towing company to fax the bill. We then gave that info to Small Town Towing. Come Monday, we called our insurance agent who stated they still have not received the bill. We informed our insurance agent how long we been trying to get it paid to get our car. Our insurance agent had to call Small Town Towing and pay them directly. Small Town Towing then charged us $765 storage fee for 9 days but it was actually 7 days $680 (had to be cash!). We took off work again and drove 5 hours to get our car. They deliberately did not contact our insurance company and lied that they did. We feel that wanted to run up the bill in hopes to get our car and make several thousand dollars to junk it out or fix and sell. Our car was not totaled. Honestly, we should have only been charged 2 days storage. I don't know how many other people they took advantaged of. Every person I have told about what we went through stated we need to contact The Better Buisness Bureau which I plan to do.

Small Town Towing always comes through for me and my friends. Lowered car friendly, experienced and willing to take jobs that AAA turns down. My buddy has a lowered Mazda RX7 and when two tow companies couldn’t tow it Small Town Towing got it and him safely to his destination. I’ll always recommend these guys over anyone else especially for car enthusiasts!
