This place used to be great now they got management just running it into the ground. The staff at the counter scales is totally incompetent. The women they hire don't even know what they're doing they won't even acknowledge you when you pull on the scales. I've literally timed it I've spent four or five minutes on that scale waiting. I get paid more money going right down the road and I pull on the scales and I'm in the yard dumping...highways not like...it's a freaking joke. The guys in the yard in the back are awesome fire them women in the front who don't know what they're doing or just don't want to do it. Can't even tell you how many times I pulled on the scales and waited while she's cooking their lunch or snacks in the back... Wonder why it smells like food in there all the time? She couldn't even tell me how to operate the ATM how do you do that job and not be able to tell the customers how to get their money out....lol..Over and DONE with them.

Very unprofessionally ran. When you pull up on the scales expect to wait. Even if there is somebody at the desk she won't even acknowledge yoyr even there. Today she was too busy talking to an employee he'd walk away she say something he'd walk back and stay in there too busy to to handle one customer. NOPE she's got a chit chat around the water cooler with other employees why I sit on the scales waiting. Hello ... There are three other scrap yards on your road.. I went there pulled right on the scales no waiting and they actually help me unload. You can't be bothered with customers I'll go down the road have a nice day! NOTE ... THE REST OF FERROUS FACILITIES ALSO ARE HORRIBLE LAZY CASHIERS THAT CAN'T BE BOTHERED...ALWAYS A WAIT. Not anymore I'll be down the road.

Been going to highway for years! There is a new manager there and he was so extremely helpful when our dump on the dump truck wasn’t working. He went and got this amazing machine and use the gigantic magnet to unload all of our scrap metals! Definitely something that company does not have to do for their customers whatsoever, but Choose to because they choose kindness and customer service!!! 10 s!!!
