I'll be honest, I paid more than other options available to me for a rotating boom truck service to lift a couple of very large generators onto trailers, and 18 heavy AC units as well. One of the generators had to be dismantled in pieces requiring finesse and skill from a knowledgeable operator. I am so glad I chose O'Hare. The operator, Mike, was a seasoned problem solver who figured out how best to get the job done with the generators and came up with the best way to load the AC's onto trailers that otherwise would not have worked. The team was on time, hard-working, competent and confident. It was worth every penny and more.

Do not use this towing company! They damaged the radiator on my truck while towing it to truck repair shop.The guy in the claims office took over a week to call me back with resolve. Once he called, he did apologize for the delay, but immediately after, he denied it was their fault. Because of the damage to the radiator, the truck repair shop would not be drive my truck into their bay so, I had to have a different towing company pull my truck into the truck repair shops bay. I called O'hare Towing which refused to tow and refused to cover the expense of a tow inside the shop...they also refused to cover the expense of the rental vehicle. My truck failed to start because of the extremely cold condition that morning and only required a fuel filter change that's a 15 min job. In the end they only covered the radiator after seeing the pictures I took showed it was their fault. They left me holding additional $2k bag and I paid them over $1.2k for their service. What a rip off. I would've given this company 0 stars.

I normally don’t leave reviews, but today I felt compelled to share. About a week ago, my family member was involved in a car accident. O’Hare Towing handled the vehicle pickup during an incredibly stressful time. I called to find out what documents were needed since my family member was hospitalized and unable to come in to do a written release in person. Amy was absolutely outstanding!! Very professional, compassionate, and incredibly helpful. She gave us clear, straightforward information and even emailed a detailed outline to guide us through the process. She included a “sample letter” for us to go by that we could use to be notarized at the hospital for the release, and we basically just filled in the blanks with our information. I’ve dealt with several tow companies over the years for roadside assistance, but this experience stood out as truly exceptional. Amy went above and beyond to make a difficult situation easier for our family, and I’m genuinely grateful. Thank you, O’Hare Towing and especially Amy Z for your top-notch customer service!!
