His expertise and customer service were the key the to resolving his claim. He understood the issue, he communicate what he was going to do and followed through immediately. I have used American auto shield for over 5 years and I unfortunately never find it convenient or fair in what they actually pay for. The last time I contacted them it took a full week just to get an estimator out to confirm the ford dealers diagnostics. They said it needed a new heater core and I placed my claim thru the dealer and a full 7 days later they said they finally got somebody to come out and review the repair. Now I continue to wait for them to discuss it with the dealer. This is the third time I’ve put in a claim and they always take forever. They also use crappy third rate parts or used parts to do the repairs I can’t imagine what I would wind up with if I needed a new motor or transmission I would never use them on any of my other vehicles. They are terrible.
