Very disappointing experience. The buffet food looked absolutely disgusting — everything was dried out, overcooked, and clearly sitting there for far too long. There was a so-called roasted chicken that looked like it had been torn apart by a raccoon: ripped open packaging, burnt, dried skin, completely inedible. The fish smelled bad, and there was some kind of chicken swimming in a pre-made, dried-out sauce. Nothing looked fresh or appetizing. The food was not worth eating, and definitely not worth the price. On top of that, the upstairs dining area was full of homeless people, and there was a strong smell of urine in the air. Overall, this place would not survive in Europe — tourists must be genuinely disgusted. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

This Whole Foods location has had the same issue ever since it opened. Every Friday they promote a special price on any large hot 1-topping pizza, yet I have never been able to actually purchase one. Today was no different—I arrived four hours before closing, saw multiple signs advertising the offer, and was still told it wasn’t available because “all the pizzas are frozen in the back.” They could only offer me a single slice instead. This has happened repeatedly, so it’s clearly not just a staff issue but a management problem. Other customers have mentioned the same thing, yet nothing ever changes. It’s incredibly frustrating to waste time coming here for an advertised promotion, especially in freezing weather. Very disappointing experience from a store that should be more reliable.

Yusef was extremely helpful, professional, understanding and communicative in the return process of expensive caviar my girlfriend and i got for valentine’s day. I would return to this location just for how comfortable i feel from this level of customer service. Joel, the manager, was also helpful and understanding. thank you whole foods NoMad.
