My car was stuck in a ditch on a Sunday afternoon. The tow truck arrived very quickly and Patrick and Tessa could not have been nicer, more professional and (importantly) more honest. They took great care to document everything for AAA reimbursement, and to get my car out of the ditch without any damage. They were willing to tow the car someplace but felt confident that it was drivable. I was able to get on my way and back home in short order. Highly recommend!

Needed to have my camper moved by a certain day. Called before I went out of town for a week to assure they could do it. The dude said "yes" and told me to call him when I got back to set it up for that Monday or Tuesday. I called him when I got back on Saturday morning and he said that his schedule was at home and to call him by 5:00 to get it on the schedule. It was a few minutes after 5:00 but I did leave a voicemail and sent a few text messages letting them know that I would call back in the morning. Again, I called and left text messages to which I got no response at all. The next day, I sent a text message and asked them to PLEASE let me know something because if they weren't going to do what they said they could do, I needed to scramble and desperately find somebody else quickly. They FINALLY responded with "these things have to be planned out and can't just be done, and we have a very busy week!" I don't know how long it takes them to "plan" a tow, but I started trying to "plan" it with them nine days earlier! It worked out better for me anyway because I ended up getting it done by a place who charged me literally HALF of what they quoted me. Now, it's obvious that they pick and choose who they get to first (and I'm sure it's whoever they can make the most money on), but you would think that a decent business would be respectful enough to at least return a call or text to someone that had called them over a week earlier to make arrangements. They obviously do not need the business and that's wonderful for them, but it's really disheartening to read their posts putting down people of Eureka Springs, but when that's the way you do business you can't expect people to think too highly of you. I had used them once before and I have referred many people to them since, but you can bet that that will not be happening again! Do better!

I contacted Backwoods towing to move a camper for a homeless elderly couple that I was trying to help. The camper is in terrible condition but the couple needed it to have a place to live. Backwoods went above and beyond to help these people. They went and put the tires on the camper and stabilized it to move it over 20 miles. They took huge risks moving it. They stayed out late to do it. It took several hours because it was so unstable. They drove very slowly and brought 2 trucks. It made it to me with no further damage. I never expected for them to say that they weren't charging anything. THESE PEOPLE ARE AMAZING!!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
