I am a photographer and I have never been treated in this terrible manner before. I spent all day walking around Granby (all public areas) taking photos of the beautiful snowy scenery and didn't have any problems at all until I came to the end of the main street sidewalk and near this place. I stopped for a short break after walking without rest for several hours and took some pictures of the mountains while I caught my breathe. Not long after I felt eyes behind me. I turned my head and sure enough there was someone walking towards me. I assumed, wrongly, that they were going to ask if I needed assistance, as most self respecting shops do, instead I noticed them stop and silently stare at me. I presume they thought they were hidden from my sight. They weren't and it felt predatory to be stared at in that manner. I decided to turn back after that, not feeling safe, and not soon after I get stopped by a disheveled looking woman who then asks me why I was taking pictures of her lot. I look at her confused, "What lot?" I asked and she points out the half empty parking lot and modest shop I'd just had the displeasure of walking by. Upset and within my right to not tell her anything about my personal business I informed her that I was a photographer, showed her my camera and told her that I didn't take photos of any lot. She drove off but that was not the end of my woes! I was nearing the fire station where I had been staying at for a couple of days when I got stopped by a very nice gentleman of a cop. He explained that I had gotten called in for suspicious activity. SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY!? Since when is walking about public roads and sidewalks taking photos of a beautiful landscape suspicious? I gave him a look of disbelief and began explaining my experience with photos to prove it! He let me go on my way after giving me his card so people like this don't bother me again!

I had Dave replace the actuator on the right side vents so the AC vents would open on my 2011 Ford F-150. It was necessary to remove the center console to get to the actuator. When he replaced the center console after installing the actuator he had disconneted the airbag warning light, the radio and the antenna, but had not reconnected them. When I got back to Utah, I had to pay another $597 to have the Ford dealership hook up the items he had disconnected. I sent him all the additional paperwork that had to be done since he had not hooked up the airbag warning light, the radio and the antenna. I felt some compensation was due from him, but I heard nothing even after I sent him all the paperwork from the Ford dealership in St George, Utah. I felt I was due some compensation from him.

Spun out into an icy ditch in Grand Lake. Got professionally winched out by Dad's (separate 5 star google review). Minivan was driveable but really tough to turn after. Took it to Grand County Auto the next morning. Already had it looked at by early afternoon. Only charged me $50 for the inspection. Lead mechanic (Dave, I think) was honest, straightforward, and supremely knowledgeable. Told me I had probably blown my power steering pump, or second possibility new rack I had put in went bad from crashing into the ditch. Told me I'd be good to drive it home to Fort Collins and take it back to the shop that did the new rack a few weeks prior. He knew I was in a tight spot, could've easily charged me more or told me I needed to leave it there for a few days until the new PS pump could arrive, but he didn't. Stand up mechanic, more than fair prices. Won't forget they are there, as I visit the Middle Park valley yearly for an xc ski trip. Told me his customer base was so large he didn't need the google review, but I felt compelled to because of the great experience I had. THANK YOU!
