Drove up from Macon for a Braves game at Truist Park and my alternator started going on I-75 northbound heading back south after the game. Dashboard lit up near the Metropolitan Parkway exit, pulled off before I lost everything. Found Efficient Towing in a quick search, strong ratings in south Atlanta. Driver was there in about 34 minutes, confirmed the car was not safe to drive, recommended a shop on Capitol Avenue that could look at it first thing Saturday morning, and pointed me to a hotel on Peachtree Street South that was not charging game night rates at that hour. Drove back to Macon Saturday afternoon. Efficient Towing turned a post-game breakdown on I-75 into a manageable situation. That is genuinely all you can ask for in that moment.

Clutch cable snapped on the I-75 and I-85 connector southbound right in the middle of the downtown merge. No warning, no gradual sign, just gone. I had about 150 feet of coast before the lanes narrowed and I needed to get right immediately. Got to the shoulder just before the ramp split and sat there with semis going past close enough to feel the air pressure shift. Called Efficient Towing and the dispatcher had a driver heading out before I even finished giving my location. She told me to stay buckled and not open the door until the driver was directly behind me. He came in 30 minutes which on the connector during rush I considered genuinely fast. Had his lighting up before he stepped out, loaded the flatbed efficiently, and drove me to a shop on McDonough Boulevard that could get to it the next morning. Getting off the connector is the only goal when you are on that shoulder. Efficient Towing made that happen fast.
