Edit: Been shopping here exclusively for over ten years- even before the transfer of the store. I’ve spent a lot of money here and drive an hour round trip just to support a local independently owned small business. I tried ordering a bug deflector for my truck and they wanted me to drive an hour round trip to put a deposit down, and it takes minimally three weeks to arrive. They wouldn’t order it unless I drove in, or take my payment via phone. I would have paid when it arrived. Working in the commercial parts business previously, I know there’s many alternatives around this. I buy all my Amsoil here when I pay less online with my preferred membership and discounts. I pay more to support this store. I have a 2002 F-350 DRW and needed 27mm front sway bar bushings. They couldn’t locate any in the Napa system. They couldn’t second source, buy third party and have shipped in- charging me the additional cost? There’s always another way. Again, serving as a parts pro for years both DIY and commercial, I resolved all above situations constantly for customers- which kept them coming back and spending more money; growing our business and client base (commercial and DIY). I think such businesses by this Napa will have ill consequences especially when everyone buys online. You can’t afford these mistakes that you made during this era of online shopping. It’ll put a small independent out of business. Especially not trusting that a long-time customer will pay for their ordered part. Instead, I ordered my part online for more and got free shipping. Your owner needs to consider this review. The chain stores do better in this situation. No attempt to retain my business was made. Why even come back into the store if they make you jump through hoops. I’ll prolly just shop somewhere else, minus brake clean and oil dry. Read my original review below. Stars changed since. As another review stated, no prices on products which is illegal in IL. I know from my professional parts experience. They have a hiring sign up but aren’t hiring when I asked. Great value and feels like a step back in time. When things were simple. My dad and I buy our Amsoil here. Their black brake cleaner is great. Best I’ve found, and their Napa oil dry is a must. Jodie is nice and I enjoy coming in. The gentleman even loaded my pickup for me. I’ll only buy my maintenance supplies and fluids here. You can tell it’s independent and not another woke business. Nice selection of tools too. Wish the Amsoil products were all on the floor. Sometimes products are hiding in back. They have Amsoil filters too. Find your part number on the Amsoil site first as it’s easier and faster. Would like to see more shop towel options in the aisles. Oh, great assorted zerk fitting kits too- both SAE & Metric. They got everything here. It’s a happy place. I was accidentally overcharged and I called em up, they said just come back and they’ll fix it, only 3 bottles of ATF. Thanks for the great customer service. I wish I worked here.

Decent automotive store. I came here for oil that was on sale, but when I entered, there was no sale prices anywhere. When I bought the oil I found up to the counter the guy working there, scanned it and told me it was on sale. It would be sort of nice if they list everything in the store that’s on sale, I probably would’ve bought more things. Otherwise good place for automotive parts.
