I went in this past Thursday just looking to TEST DRIVE the 2023 xc40 that I had interest in. Once we met Rainier, we were met with exceptional service! Not only was he incredibly nice, but offered amazing customer service making us feel welcome, heard, and ready to walk out with a car! Any questions we had were answered, and worked with us on budgeting! Needless to say, we bought the car and are EXTREMELY happy with the service! Gil, Justin and Andrea were also amazing people to work with as well! Thank you for welcoming us to the Volvo family! If you are even thinking of getting one, get it (and get it with Rainier) 10/10 experience!

When I brought my car in, they told me it was still under warranty. A week later, they called me and said the car was actually not under warranty, and that I would need to pay almost $4,000 to get it fixed. I told them I wasn’t willing to spend that much money on the repair, so they said they would charge me a $450 fee instead. Then I asked them to put the car back together so I could come pick it up. But when I got the car back, I noticed that the check engine light and other warning lights were on, even though there were no warning lights at all when I first brought the car in. I went back to talk to them about it, and they told me, “Since you didn’t have the repair done here, that’s just how it is.” It was a really bad experience. I hope others don’t go there to buy a car or get repairs done. I took my car to the repair shop, and they told me that both the high-temperature radiator and the low-temperature radiator were broken. They said the high-temperature radiator seemed to have been deliberately damaged, as if someone had used a screwdriver or similar tool on it. However, the inspection report that Volvo staff sent me shows that only the low-temperature radiator was damaged. So I strongly suspect that because I didn’t have the repairs done at Volvo, they deliberately damaged my high-temperature radiator.

I just leased my first Volvo, and Angela truly went above and beyond to make it a wonderful experience. She took the time to understand what I was looking for, never pressured me, and helped me find the right car while staying within my parameters for a great lease. What really stood out was the day I picked up the car. There was a horrible rainstorm, and it took me over two hours to get to the dealership. Despite this, Angela and her team stayed late so I could still take delivery and drive the car home that day. That level of care and commitment meant a great deal to me. She has also followed up since to check in and make sure I’m enjoying the car. I had a great experience working with Angela and the team at Volvo Manhattan.
