Brought my car here to have some fairly routine work done, change front struts, rotate tires, alignment. I was on a bit of a tight schedule because I was leaving on a long trip, Dan’s fit me in and seemed glad to help out. Great. Got the car back, paid my bill, and immediately recognized there was something wrong, when stopping the car would dip in front and pull hard to the left. I took it back to them asking to have them check the struts, as the bolts were clearly not tightened, and they told me they didn’t have time and to just “go on my little trip” and bring it back to them in a week or two. Not willing to drive 2000+ miles like this, I took it to my usual shop in Kalamazoo, explained what was up, and they delivered a miracle and got me in. Turns out many of the suspension bolts were not tightened down, making an alignment impossible (for which I was charged by Dan’s) and an 8’ breaker bar was needed to loosen my wheels to get at the struts. Hard to imagine that this was not intentional, and needless to say I will not be going back for any reason. Moral of the story is, don’t go to Dan’s and don’t put a political sticker on your car and expect MAGAs to treat you fairly.
