A-1. The best. 5-stars in a category where there ain’t a lot of stars. Shame on me for not knowing there is a totally world-class import vehicle repair shop nestled on Coolidge in beautiful Berkeley MI. It’s called Quality Foreign Car Service. Wherever you are in Michigan and beyond, they are worth the drive! Last year, Wayne, the owner and his team saved my 06 Volvo XC70 with a used transmission. It drives flawlessly now. Since that big repair, I’ve given them more work on said vehicle and plan have my other vehicles serviced there. Why? It’s hard to find a car repair place you can trust. I’m sorry. It just is. You can trust Wayne. I do. Completely. And I’m kinda a fussy weekend warrior mechanic-type who knows enough to be dangerous. What makes Wayne so special, outside of his 40 years working on cars… is that integrity is Job 1. He’s a straight shooter who knows his stuff and he is dedicated to doing right by you. Whether that’s a repair right now or how to play things going forward with your vehicle. Wayne and his team at Quality Foreign Car Service. They speak Volvo. They speak Toyota. They speak the "language" of whatever “import” you drive. Plain and simple, they’re the best. So give ‘em a shot at whatever you’re dealing with. You’ll be more than glad you did. You’ll be like, damn, why didn’t I do this sooner!?

I was scheduled to have major work done on my 2008 Saab 9-3 when the shop I was using called to say they had lost the only mechanic who could do the work. I searched for a replacement and found Quality Foreign Car Service. After a lengthy phone call with Chris, I felt that they were capable of taking on the repair. Boy was I right. They have now serviced my car twice, it is running better than ever, and I won't go anywhere else - - even though I have to drive across town to get there. Definitely worth it. Wayne at Quality gave me lots of *great* advice when the engine blew on my truck after only 5 years + 80k miles. He suggested I open a case with the manufacturer to petition them to cover at least a portion of the replacement cost, which they ultimately did. However, this meant that the work had to be performed at the dealership. Wayne knew that from the start and didn't care at all, he just wanted to help. Quality Foreign Care Service has already been taking great care of my wife's car for a few years now, this experience just completely sealed the deal for me: I will *definitely* be going back for future repairs/maintenance!
