I had a very disappointing experience at Harbor Freight due to an employee named Shane. I came in to exchange two items. While I understood I needed to pick up the replacement item, Shane repeatedly said it over and over instead of helping me work through questions about my second item. The bigger issue was how he handled the warranty conversation — he insisted I had “no time of warranty” and wouldn’t engage professionally. A supervisor had to step in to resolve what should have been a straightforward transaction. After checking out the second time, I handed Shane the ticket for an item from the cage. He stared at me and then told me to go get it myself, which made no sense and felt dismissive. To top it off, he asked what time it was because he couldn’t wait for his shift to end — which says a lot about the level of customer focus I experienced. This interaction reflected poorly on the store’s customer service standards. Management should address this so other customers don’t have the same experience. Shane must be removed or disciplined for Harbor Freight to carry the same amazing customer service it has had for years…

Great store, perfect if you are a DYI-er. Huge selection, very good prices. Don't need to overpay at the big box stores Some items might not be well made so look closely, but all the tools and sockets I have are awesome.

The place has parking lot for customers and the staff is amazing. I was way down the aisle checking out a product and she spotted me from far away and offer assistance. She then dispatch an associate to help me. In less than a few minutes later, my item was on push cart and rolled at the front of the line waiting for me to push to the cashier and pay for it. Since the item is a bulky one, two associates helped me upload it in the car. It was a great experience.
