We have purchased two vehicles from Motor Car Export. Both times everything went extremely well. Pat and Chris are great to work with. They tell you everything that is right and or wrong about a vehicle. They take pictures from every possible angle so you can evaluate it before even going to their place for a test drive. Most of the time their expert mechanical staff have done a tremendous job repairing or replacing anything that needs to be repaired or replaced and cleaning up the vehicle. Over the years I have seen a couple of vehicles in their lineup with some dents and bodywork that were not repaired…but you know that up front. So if you decide to buy it, you know that you will need to have that done separately or live with it…but it is your choice and not a surprise. That is rare, though, as most of the time they appear to fix almost everything. They also deal only in freshwater flood vehicles so you know you’re not getting saltwater rust. I heard a story once that they had gotten a saltwater rust car from an insurance company and didn’t realize it initially. Several months later, it was obvious to the person who bought it from all the rust developing and I heard they purchased it back. I cannot extend their warranty for them as that was a specific situation, and I don’t know all the details, but that just told me the kind of integrity they have. If you do a Google search on flood vehicles and research it, most experts recommend never purchasing one. And I would say overall, that is probably true as there are a lot of dishonest brokers out there that will sell you flood cars that they have not taken the time to fully restore just to make a quick buck at your expense. However, Pat and Chris have developed a long term reputation and a business for ensuring they sell quality restored vehicles as they are in it for the long haul, not for a few quick bucks and then get out as a scam artist. I would not hesitate to recommend this business. And I have to several friends and family members over the years. Just like back in 2017 a friend recommended them to me when I was looking for a car. My wife and I purchased that car and it was a great car. Just a couple weeks ago we bought our second one and are really enjoying it. We now live several states away and about a 14 hour drive. Although they would have shipped us the car we flew up there and picked it up so we could drive it home ourselves. They do have a decent warranty, but any work has to be done back at their Michigan facility. Thanks Pat for assisting us in our search and allowing us to test drive the several vehicles we did prior to making our decision! 5 star service!

If you want to drive a low mileage, late model for less, this is the place! I have been in the automotive industry for 30 years and by far this is the most transparent, down to earth place I’ve seen.
