Derek really saved me! My truck battery died Saturday afternoon while I was on vacation. I called the local CarQuest shop. He said that he had one in stock, I told him that I was waiting for Patriot’s tow service to come out and give me a jump start. Then he mentioned that they close within the next 5-10 minutes. Then he surprised me, saying he would wait for me before closing up for the weekend. I arrived shortly after 3:15 maybe? I was able to pick up a new battery and installed it. I would not have been able to drive home on Sunday to Lansing if it wasn’t for Derek.

They identified the problem (gummed carb) and did not waste time after it wouldn't come clean. They called to inform us and ordered the necessary parts. Replacement saved us labor costs, and the shipping of part was slow due to remoteness of the U.P. They were friendly regardless of how many times I called to check the status. When I requested a tutorial of operating the machine, they offered to teach the user again as to best storage practices and starting, etc. 5 beers would probably be more deserved than 5 stars.
