I purchased a 69 Camaro 4 years ago and quickly learned that the biggest problem you will run into when owning a classic car is finding the right shop you can trust to work on your vehicle. I finally pulled the trigger on CCR. I took the car in for a few basic things and also a few upgrades. After agreeing on the direction we were gonna take we ran into a few problems. My 396 big block was worn out and needed some attention. Engine work is very costly so I honestly had mixed feelings and asked my self like I'm sure we all have are these guys taking advantage of me? Carl sent me pictures and asked me to swing by so he could show me the problems. I then felt a little better about the situation and decided to move forward with the repairs (new engine upgrade to a 496 big block by Ross Automotive). Every week Carl kept me updated on the progress with a detailed email, he answered every question I had, he was patient with me and my decisions, he gave me multiple choice options from cheapest to most expensive and he was always understanding and never once pushy. My car has been pretty much overhauled. I questioned my choice until today 3-9-26 I received my car back. Like any other car owner I couldn't wait to see it, hear it, feel it, experience it. I jumped in fired it up and went on a ride. It was everything I wanted! I never thought my car could be what it is now, thanks to CCR. The sound is unreal the ride is smooth, the look is picture perfect ?. People were going nuts taking picture's and video's its pretty cool to see everyone get joy from seeing it then saying "wow that's my car". My cars will only be going to CCR for work. I would not take your car to this place. All I got was a high dollar "repair bill" and no follow up after I drove off. You will get a big run around between the two people that run the place and no follow up. One person sets up your repairs and than you end up talking to another person when you call back with an issue. I spent a lot of money at this place and ended up with a big run around and no one standing behind the work. So don't believe it when they tell you there is a warranty on their work. I still have several of the same problems that I had when I took the car in to be repaired. I think the most pathetic response I got was when I was told my engine was designed to leak oil. Do yourself a favor and steer cleat of this place.

Anyone with a car knows how hard it can be to find a shop that can competently and fairly work on repairs to your vehicle. If your car is a classic, it can be even more difficult. There can be a lot of trial and error before you find the one that does the work to your standards. I’m happy to report that CC&R goes above and beyond expectations. Carl and Paul are knowledgeable, professional, and fair. All labor, parts, and repairs are clearly spelled out in advance. I was also very happy with the level of service provided. In some cases, issues were taken care of, free of charge. At one point, I was in a bind and pick up and delivery service was provided, no problem. I also found all prices fair and reasonable. I highly recommend this shop for not only repairs and restorations to your classic but also to your daily driver. Bottom line, knowledgeable and professional individuals, great facility, fair and reasonable prices! It has always been a great experience and I’m happy to have found a great place I can trust my car to. Thanks, Carl and Paul!
