Great service, great paint job, handling of insurance coverage, communication over the phone. My husband and I always use Fort Lee Auto Body, and have always been satisfied with their work. This time a NYC drive scraped my bumper, and their Geico insurance was a bit irresponsive, but it seems to have been worked out and covered. They also have a good rapport with the Enterprise car rental service down the road, who pick up costomers from the shop several times a day.

Fort Lee Auto Body – Teaneck, NJ My first experience here was good enough that I felt comfortable returning when I had another issue. Unfortunately, the second time around was a completely different story. My vehicle was completed on March 27th. Then, on April 10th, my vehicle was hit by a neighbor. I wasn’t too worried—I trusted Fort Lee Auto Body enough to go back to them. At approximately 1:34 pm on April 10th, I called and asked to speak with the same person who helped me before—Mike. I was told by a woman that he was out to lunch, but I could leave a message. I never received a call back. I called again the next morning, April 11th at 9:52 AM, and told the gentleman who answered that I needed to bring my car in. I asked if he could help me or if I should wait for Mike. He said to leave another message. By late morning, after still hearing nothing, I drove over there myself. The woman who appeared told me, “You need an appointment for an estimate.” My question was—how was I supposed to get an appointment if Mike wasn’t returning my calls? Then she added, “Mike no longer works here.” That’s interesting because I’m fairly confident I heard him talking in the back office. Someone else eventually assisted me, but the whole experience left a bad taste. I can’t shake the feeling that I was being lied to. If Mike truly didn’t work there anymore, why take a message for him just a couple hours before? I was really disappointed in the way this was handled. I expected better.The trust was lost. It's not the same service I received the first time.
