I highly recommend this establishment for its diligent team, its stellar workmanship, and its human-first approach to customer service! I recently brought a 2010 Mazda CX9 to the shop for a difficult-to-diagnose large issue, as well as some smaller ones. As a result of their thorough diagnostic techniques and diligent follow-through, each issue was sequentially identified and fixed. I have had other shops simply give up before making the effort. Rob (the proprietor of Ames) never put up any barriers to finding the problems. He himself was involved in spearheading the diagnosis of each issue via test drives and deep teamwork with his crew. Overall, the establishment's high level of expertise and experience with vehicles shines through their work and their patience with tricky scenarios. In addition, Rob and Peter in the front office are extremely affable and easy to approach. I felt heard and taken seriously as I described the several strange problems. Rob is gifted in his ability to explain technical conditions in layperson terms, and he gives his time and compassion generously to the customer - He does not force a rushed conversation. He listens and explains patiently and completely. My car is old, granted. But, after having work done at Ames, I feel ready to take on the next 100K miles with smooth sailing!!

I wish there was a way to leave more than 5 stars. This is definetly my new go to place for any of my car needs. Super friendly and informative staff, good quality work and pretty fast. One thing that really stood out to me that I have never seen any other mechanic do is give out loner cars for free while they work on yours! Also they text you with pictures and a whole breakdown of what is happening with your car and what they are doing to it which is super helpful! Overall amazing people and amazing place would 100% recommend. Thanks guys!

Rob and the crew are very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. They follow up with additional reports that are always detailed, specific, photographic, and concise, which serves as a useful guide and provides peace of mind. They’re also very friendly. Highly recommend!
