Let me tell you something I come from service for many many years and what experience today was horrifying. I was in the photo department and there was a gentleman named Chrice who was working at exactly 5 PM on Friday the 28th of this month February, I walked over. He had a line full of people as I approached the area. There was a woman who snapped her fingers while eating food in the middle of the floor and demanded he move a car. No thank you no, please with an attitude rolled her eyes and then pointed at him while saying this in front of guests, which was extremely embarrassing as you can tell his face was mortified and so was mine. I then said hey, are you a manager? Do you have a key to unlock the film on the wall here she looked at me and said no sarcastically and said he can help you and then walked away with her food chomping on her food on the floor with an attitude into the back room. I then waited online for the gentleman. He looked like he wanted to cry. I felt so bad for him as he was extremely embarrassed, and this was extremely unacceptable the way he was treated and spoken to in the middle of a rush where she should’ve had a smile on her face as her position as well desired. It is unacceptable the way he was spoken to and the way he was treated, and it was unacceptable for her to be unprofessional eating in the middle of the floor and not help a customer because of her chomping on her food. The gentleman then very kindly helped me out and I got my film. He was extreme pleasure. I then came back to the area as I had the wrong film and another coworker. A female was working, and she looked like she wanted to cry as well. I overheard the manager again with the young lady being nasty. I’m not sure what kind of HR department needs to see this review, but this is not acceptable on many levels and is borderline discrimination. It is borderline terms for firing and termination as a guest should never have to experience. This would be denied. Any kind of service and a employee should never ever be treated this way ever it is so sad that I had to experience this and sad to watch employees be put down and be spoken to like complete garbage. Again, I would address this issue right away as this will be reported to the Department of labor and will also be brought up to human rights in the EEOC if necessary, thank you and have a great day. I used to really like the auto shop within Walmart here, but wow after the last few visits. I’d rather drink the old oil out of my car straight from the valve and then regurgitate it and drink it all over again before I ever let another Walmart mechanic touch my car. I made an appointment a few days ago to get my oil change done for Feb 1st. I pull up on the day of my appointment only to be greeted by some kid letting me know not a single Walmart had the type of oil filter I needed to get my oil changed. Mind you, nobody called me to let me know that. The manager had to let the employees know in front of me they should’ve done that in the morning and never did. Was the problem resolved? Yeah it was, they pulled an oil filter off their own shelves from within the store. But this is the second time they’ve done this to me in the last few weeks. Not to mention another time I took my car here, i had my husband’s keys in my cup holder. Handed the mechanics MY keys and they still somehow manager to take my husbands keys (that did NOT have a spare to my car on it) and KEPT THE KEYS UNTIL WE REALIZED WALMART HAD MT HUSBANDS KEYS. I have a push to start car. They took a key off a key ring to a car that needs to be started with the key being put into the ignition. Did nobody have a single shred of common sense that day????? I GUESS NOT. Needless to say I’m done with the absolute stupidity Walmart mechanics have within their empty little heads. Also, not sure why it’s usually $65-$70 after tax and today I paid damn near $84.
