I’ll never forget the first time I moved to hooker ave and was like oh nice a deli went in here to get a sandwich and saw the roaches crawling all over the counter and machines where they did the cold cuts and was like nope not today. Even the man behind the counter followed my eyes noticing that I noticed it and flicked them away with a hand towel that’s gross. They were on the back of the sun glass display they had right in front too. My kid spotted the candy and it was way overpriced. Now instead of walking across the street to this deli I have to drive down to Dollar General where it’s actually reasonable.

I go in there frequently and I always have to watch the price on what I buy. Not only do they overcharge but if you're not a familiar face they'll try to charge you extra.

This place was very close to Times Square. My single room was nice yet small but it had everything to include an ironing board and iron. There is a huge front lounge area, gifts shop, restaurant/bar. My only beef is I was told hotels in the area have mandatory facility charge. This place was $30 (before taxes). It did catch me off guard. I think part of the charge is for telephone, Wi-Fi and a gym, so call ahead and pack accordingly. Lorenzo was great about discussing this so I'm cool about it now. I would stay here again.
