Stay away from this company. These people are liars and thieves. I had my car battery replaced, and they took my old battery - which was still in decent shape, maybe with a few cells out — and installed a lemon battery instead. Their contract states there’s 30 days of no-cost repair, and I even paid for a 5-year warranty. The replacement battery stopped working right after day 30, which seems very suspicious. They also cleared the vehicle codes, so it took weeks for the system to relearn — conveniently past the 30-day mark. When I reported the issue, they became deceptive and unhelpful, constantly changing their story and making up new rules to avoid warranty - like requiring my car to sit undriven for six hours and changing appointment times last minute. I’ve wasted $2,500 on a lemon battery and endless frustration. I’ll be taking this matter to small claims court

I contacted Prius Kings many times over my disappointment that the battery they installed does not perform properly-it does not charge 100% depletes quickly and affects MPG. I was told it was not suppose to act like a new battery. I said how about it performing like the old one before it started to failed!? I am the original owner of this 07 Prius. I have lived on the same mountain for 25 years. I know what to expect from my vehicle. This battery does not perform as expected. I thought was doing the right thing by buying a refurbished battery (that should be more green right?) and maybe it is but my experience with Prius Kings has changed my mind. I feel like I bought a service contract. They will replace the battery for five years if you have the fail codes. I do not get fail codes because it is marginal. It performs like the last battery did just before it failed. Great you have a warranty but at what cost to me while I drive with this battery? Reduced MPG and knowing in the back of my mind I may have to deal with this company again giving up my vehicle for a day and the inconvenience. I emailed the service rep that I wanted nothing to do with the company and that I was moving on. I wished her "The best of luck". She was so clueless or so poorly trained that she did not get the polite hint not to contact me any more with excuses. I made the mistake of purchasing from this company. I will save up the money and buy a new battery and learn to install it myself. Protip: Turn off display while driving-you will be less irritated. September 15th update-last week the car started to hesitate upon acceleration and yesterday the vehicle's battery failed- not even 60 days of driving! I am stupid for using Prius Kings and I would be an idiot to go back to them for warranty coverage because they installed a faulty battery right from the beginning and refused to make any corrections. I am doing what I said I would do (unlike Prius Kings) im learning to install a new battery myself. Check back and I'll tell you how it went. I'll also give DIY advice so you will feel confident. It can't be that hard Max (PK installer) did it at 930pm under the headlights of his car and it took only 30 minutes-how hard can it be?! My advice is to avoid this company at all cost.If you need more convincing contact me.

I was very happy with the service to my 2010 Prius by PruisKings, which was half the cost of the Toyota dealership! I had to drive from the Eastern Shore of Maryland to a particular shopping center parking lot in Philadelphia to get my hybrid battery replaced as it had a battery failure warning and the acceleration was sluggish. The repairman, Max, drove from New York to Philly so we both met in the middle. Max was a superb repairman and I was amazed at how fast he disassembled the back of my car and replaced the old battery with a like-new refurbished one. He said he’d been working on Prius’s for years. It was done quickly and he took it for a 15 minute test drive. Afterwards, it drove like a dream. I highly recommend PriusKings work and Max’s expertise. It saved me alot of money and felt like a new car afterwards! Alexandra Ragsdale
