This experience has been horrible for me and my family. My daughter got into an accident and my car was towed to this place. Waiting for insurance, storage fees were accumulating. Then they told me today they were charging me an additional $150 for it being there long but didn't tell me what "long" was. I didn't get any paperwork, documentation or nothing. Then I asked if they could do an estimate on my car 3xs. The first time they told me they didn't have time. The last 2xs they flat out told me no, even though I explained that the finance company was asking if they could do one for us to be able to move forward. The accident was already traumatic and this experience with the two company just compounded it. I hope no one has to go through this after me.

By far the best experience I’ve had with a Towing company! They were super fast getting to me and really fast getting my truck unlocked, Even though he couldn’t see through my tinted windows. Super friendly and if I’m in the area an need them will definitely call them!

Non-Military! Young man that was SUNY Plattsburgh senior driving back and forth from Saranac Lake to Rochester for drill weekends fell asleep (5 hour drive). Young man was activated and was making the trip every other weekend fell asleep at the wheel heading back to home (Saranac Lake) and hit guardrail Sunday night. Vehicle was towed to public parking lot in Saranac Lake. Young man deployed to Kuwait with no use for for vehicle left it immobilized. R&L Towing was asked to remove from parking lot (~10 mile tow). Letter was sent to his apartment while he is in Kuwait. Girlfriend obtained letter with no idea what to do. I as the father of girlfriend was asked what to do. I contacted R&L and the office clerk said the vehicle needs to be removed and tow fee is $275 & threatened $100/day storage fee. I explained the situation with owner being in Kuwait & I lived 3-1/2 hours away but would rent trailer and come up in get car in a few days. I rented a trailer a fews days later and drove up to get car. While I was winching the car into trailer while Roger (Owner) watched I was having "small talk" with him. I told him the story and mentioned I couldn't believe he had to pay for the guardrail. He responded "Good. I don't want my tax money paying for these idiots". He also mentioned the the $100/day storage fee. We were not charged the fee but then again the car was in an open yard (greater than 5 acres). They showed no appreciation for this young man's service for all of US to enjoy our freedom!
